The successful\ncandidate will provide on-site, on the floor, technical and system\nadministration support through troubleshooting and implementing\nappropriate solutions to software/hardware anomalies as they occur.\nThe SA will automate Software deployments, package Software,\ntroubleshoot VDI endpoints, virtual machines and\nGeospatial/corporate software issues as well as make corrective\nrecommendations as necessary. Likewise the candidate should be able\nto quickly respond to application/hardware related issues, resolve\non the spot problems (where possible), replicate the issue for\ninternal analysis/diagnosis, and assist in the preparation of\ntechnical documentation that can accurately depict the problem\nand/or solution for feedback to the team.\n-\n- 1. Manages the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers\nrunning on one or more operating systems.\n- 2. Maintains the integrity and security of servers and systems.\n- 3. Sets up administrator and service accounts.\n- 4. Maintains system documentation\n- 5. Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products.\n- 6. Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software,\ncoordinates installation and provides backup recovery.\n- 7. Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation\nrelated to the use of computing resources.\n- 8. May program in an administrative language.\n- 9. Develops and implements testing strategies and document results.\n- 10. Provides advice and training to end-users.\n- 11. Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced staff\nmembers.\n- 12. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as\nassigned.\n- 13.
