The position ensures stability of our mission-critical\nERP platforms while driving innovation in observability, automation, and\nsecurity.\nYOUR IMPACT:\n-Serve as the escalation point for complex operational support,\ntroubleshooting, security enforcement, and performance tuning across IBM\nPower systems and IBM i OS environments.\n-Expertise in IBM Power and IBM i OS, with responsibility for end-to-end\nmanagement of the ecosystem spanning hardware, virtualization, and\noperating system administration.\n-Experience administering IBM VIOS, including configuration,\nmaintenance, and troubleshooting.\n-Drive the adoption of observability and AIOps practices to improve\nmonitoring, reduce mean time to resolution, and proactively identify\nissues.\n-Advance automation through Infrastructure-as-Code (Ansible, CL) to\nmodify best practices, streamline patching/compliance, and reduce\noperational overhead and repetitive work\n-Support the design, testing, deployment and support of HA/DR solutions\n(MIMIX or similar) to ensure ERP availability and business continuity.\n-Provide mentoring, guidance, and strong communication to bridge\ntechnical and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment with\nmodernization initiatives.\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:\n-Five (4) or more years of experience in the field or in a related area.\n-Proven expertise with HMC, MIMIX HA/DR, VIO server, and IBM DS storage.\n-Strong understanding of ITIL processes, incident resolution, and\nstakeholder engagement.\n-Demonstrated skills in troubleshooting, CL scripting, and\ninfrastructure design.\n-Ability to work standard business hours, with availability for\nafter-hours/weekend work during patching, OS upgrades, and on-call\nrotations.\n-Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and collaboration\nskills.\nSTANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS:\n-Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field.\n-Experience managing IBM i OS and IBM Power hardware environments.\n-Experience implementing observability and AIOps initiatives to reduce\nnoise, accelerate incident response, and drive predictive insights.\n-Familiar with Fortra products
