Here are\nthe key requirements and responsibilities for this role:\nTechnical Skills:\nActive Directory (AD) and Group Policy Objects (GPO):\n- Proficient in managing and maintaining Active Directory, including\ncreating and managing security groups.\n- Experienced in implementing and troubleshooting Group Policy Objects\nfor efficient system configuration.\n- Proficient in managing Windows Server Infrastructure\n(2016/2019/2022).\n- Experience with Microsoft Office, Office365, Active Directory, File\nClusters, and Print Servers.\nVulnerability Assessment and Security Frameworks:\n- Thorough knowledge of conducting vulnerability assessments to\nidentify and mitigate potential security risks.\n- Familiar with security frameworks such as CIS and NIST guidelines,\nensuring compliance with industry standards.\n- Previous knowledge of implementation of Zero-Trust architecture.\n- Implement and administrate endpoint security tools, including EDR\nsolutions.\nCloud Services:\n- Solid understanding and practical experience in utilizing Azure\nservices for cloud-based solutions.\n- Proficient in deploying and managing resources on the Azure\nplatform.\nVirtualization:\n- Skilled in virtualization technologies, including setup,\nconfiguration, and maintenance of virtual environments.\n- Extensive experience in optimizing virtual resources to enhance\noverall system performance.\nAsset Management:\n- Well-versed in asset management practices, including tracking,\ninventory, and lifecycle management of IT assets.\n- Skilled in implementing efficient asset management systems for\nimproved organizational efficiency.\nScripting and Automation:\n- Experience interpreting, writing, and debugging PowerShell scripts\nfor automation.\nResponsibilities:\nSystem Maintenance:\n- Maintain Operating System baselines for Windows Servers and\nWorkstations.\n- Implement, install, configure, monitor, troubleshoot, and evaluate\nMicrosoft Windows operating systems.\nEnhancements and Recommendations:\n- Recommend and implement system enhancements to improve performance\nand reliability.\n- Install, upgrade/patch, monitor, troubleshoot, and perform\nconfiguration management.\nSecurity Implementation:\n- Implement hardened settings to improve the security posture of\nendpoints.\n- Restrict the use of local admin accounts and implement the least\nprivilege principle.\nSupport and Diagnostics:\n- Provide support to technical staff in diagnosing and correcting\nsystem-related failures.\n- Determine logical solutions to complex system administration and\napplication problems.\nDisaster Recovery and Replication:\n- Implement and manage disaster recovery strategies.\n- Configure and maintain replication processes for critical systems.\nAcademic QUALIFICATIONS\n- Bachelor's (BS) degree in computer science, management information\nsystems, or a related field.\n- Certification in a related field (Security +, MSA, MCSE) would be\nconsidered a plus.\n- Microsoft Azure certification (AZ-900, AZ104) will be considered a\nplus.\nDESIRED SKILLS\n- Good communication skills and a strong work ethic.\n- Work as an adaptable team player.\n- Working knowledge of CIS controls.\n- General knowledge of Cloud technologies, such as Office 365\nMinimum Experience\n- 10 years of relevant experience with Microsoft Windows
