Confirmed on the employer's own hiring board on Oct 25, 2026. First seen by Alion on Oct 6, 2026.
AI-native team creating products at the intersection of psychology, learning and technology.
Think AI-powered leadership tools, business simulations, immersive learning experiences
and entirely new formats that don’t exist yet.
We’re looking for someone who doesn’t just build what already exists.
We’re looking for someone who helps invent what should exist next.
WE HAVE SOME INTERESTING PROBLEMS TO SOLVE
01 - Make People See Themselves
How do you design an experience that shows a leader their own blind spot - without the
need of ever telling them directly about it?
02 - Make Learning Stick
What if development didn’t need a slide deck to actually change how someone sees
themselves?
03 - Build What Doesn’t Exist Yet
We’re designing experiences, simulations and games that don’t have a genre yet. Turn one
of our ideas into something someone can actually feel within two weeks. Not a training
module. Not a workshop deck. An experience.
Responsibilities
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT- Real ownership from day one
- Direct collaboration with our founder and a highly collaborative team with strong
support from atrain’s Content, Digital and IT experts
- Significant freedom, paired with meaningful responsibility
- A culture focused on impact rather than bureaucracy
- A six-month virtual introduction phase before relocation becomes relevant
- Long-term development opportunities far beyond this role
We’re less interested in degrees and credentials than in evidence that you can design
experiences that move people.
We'd also love to see:
- Real psychological nuance - motivation, contradiction, identity - beyond
psychology labels
- Strong learning agility and the ability to become productive quickly in unfamiliar
domains
- Enough curiosity about AI and digital tools to imagine experiences that couldn’t have
existed a few years ago
- Good judgement around pacing, tone and what feels human versus what feels
artificial
- The ability to take feedback from real users and rebuild rather than defend the first
version
WHAT WE DO CARE ABOUT IS:
- What you’ve made.
- How you think about people.• How quickly you learn.
- Whether you turn a vague brief into something concrete.
- Whether you’re curious enough to chase a rabbit hole nobody assigned you.
You don’t need a psychology degree.
You don’t need a screenwriting credential.
You don’t need to have held this exact role before.
No previous job experience required. What matters is your ability to notice, imagine and
turn an idea into something someone else can feel.
Sounds more interesting than maintaining someone else’s backlog? Let’s talk - but
please: Don’t send us a traditional cover letter.
Instead, send us something that shows how you think and build:
- Something you’ve built or redesigned
- Something you think is badly designed - and how you’d improve it
- A prototype
- A Figma project
- A GitHub repository
- Or something we haven’t thought of? Also great!
Requirements
YOUR MISSION • Turn an ambition, a psychological idea or a learning goal into something people feel
- not just read about.
- Design moments, not modules: Use narrative, simulation, game mechanics and
reflection as tools - not as a template you reach for every time.
- Work closely with our AI Product Builder counterpart, our founder, content experts
and digital specialists to turn experience concepts into things people can actually try.
You will:
- Design the full arc of an experience: what someone sees, feels, struggles with,
discovers and carries away
- Write situations, characters and dialogue when a story is the right tool - and leave it
out when it isn’t
- Prototype experiences fast, alongside AI-powered tools and our Product Builder
counterpart
- Test ideas with real people early, and rebuild when reality disagrees with you
- Connect psychology, storytelling and product thinking
- Help shape what an experience could become, not just decorate what’s already been
built
