You will play a key role in integrating, deploying and maintaining emerging technologies in challenging and dynamic environments. This role requires adaptability, technical expertise and a problem-solving mindset to ensure operational success for deployed customers.\nThis is a unique opportunity to support mission-driven operations directly while collaborating with defence, wider government and commercial mission partners on distinctive and challenging problems.\nResponsibilities\nDeploy, configure and maintain mission-critical systems in the field.\nIntegrate novel technologies, such as geospatial platforms, secure communications and mobile systems, into operational environments.\nTroubleshoot technical issues and provide real-time support during deployments.\nConduct pre-deployment readiness checks, system validation and acceptance testing.\nSupport and enforce secure endpoint and mobile device policies in austere environments.\nCollaborate with host-nation partners, stakeholders and third-party suppliers to ensure successful mission integration.\nDocument engineering processes, configurations and lessons learned to support knowledge transfer and audit readiness.\nAct as a trusted technical adviser and brand ambassador for Atreides.\nStart with the business outcome in mind. Provide world-class field support that encourages the growth of future support contracts and the use of Atreides services.\nRequired Expertise\nHands-on experience in field engineering, systems integration or technology deployments.\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across hardware, software and networking.\nFamiliarity with secure communications, VPNs and endpoint management solutions.\nExperience with containerised platforms, such as Docker and Kubernetes, and modern deployment toolchains.\nProficiency in scripting or programming languages; Python or Go is preferred.\nStrong communication skills and the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nPrevious experience supporting defence, intelligence or government programmes is preferred.\nDesired Qualifications\nQualifications in networking, systems administration and cloud environments are required.
