Delivering such robust, personalized, and preventive health care is complex and requires a team-wide dedication to excellence.\nAfter successfully opening our flagship Institute in New York in 2022 and expanding to South Florida in 2024, we are now bringing the Atria experience to the West Coast with the launch of our Los Angeles Institute in late spring 2026.\nAtria Health is seeking a Software Engineer for our DevOps team to help build and operate the infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and observability that the rest of engineering relies on every day.\nThis is an individual contributor role focused on:\nBuilding and maintaining cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and automation that let product teams ship safely and quickly\nKeeping our systems reliable and observable, and helping the team respond when things break\nReducing operational toil through tooling, automation, and good documentation\nYou'll work alongside the Tech Lead and other DevOps engineers to improve and maintain infrastructure-as-code, improve our build and release process, and strengthen our monitoring and security posture. You'll partner with the Platform, Data Engineering, and domain product teams (Clinical Experience, Member Experience, and Care Delivery) to understand their needs and make their path to production smoother. You'll care deeply about both how we build and what we achieve, while working to accelerate the work of our client teams.\nKey Responsibilities\nInfrastructure & Automation\nBuild and maintain cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform using Terraform, following the patterns and standards set by the team.\nImplement and improve CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions to make deployments fast, safe, and repeatable.\nAutomate manual and repetitive operational work with scripts and tooling to reduce toil across engineering.\nReliability & Observability\nInstrument services and infrastructure with meaningful monitoring, dashboards, and alerting in Datadog, and help cut down on alert noise.\nParticipate in the on-call rotation, respond to incidents, and work to ensure uptime for our applications.\nDefine and track Service Level Objectives (SLOs) for our core infrastructure and build systems.\nDeveloper Enablement\nSupport product engineering teams with deployment pipelines, environment issues, and build troubleshooting.\nHelp maintain preview and staging environments, including reliable data sync, masking, and cleanup routines so teams can test against realistic data.\nImprove developer experience through better tooling, clear runbooks, and documentation.\nQuality & Collaboration\nWrite well-tested, well-reviewed infrastructure code, and participate in design reviews and RFCs with a pragmatic, operations-focused perspective.\nDesign systems and changes to meet the team’s goals. \nGive and receive thoughtful code reviews, and share knowledge through pairing and documentation.\nTech Stack\nLanguages: TypeScript, Python, Bash\nInfrastructure: Google Cloud Platform, Terraform, Cloudflare\nCI/CD: GitHub Actions\nDatabases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis\nObservability & Incident Management: Datadog, Sentry, Rootly\nIntegrations: Athena EMR, wearable platforms, third-party healthcare APIs\nRequirements\nCore Experience\n~3 - 4 years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE, infrastructure, or backend engineering in production environments.\nHands-on experience provisioning and operating infrastructure in at least one cloud provider (ideally Google Cloud Platform).\nTrack record of shipping automation, pipelines, or infrastructure that made a team more productive or reliable.\nAn enthusiasm for developer productivity and making our teams as impactful as possible. \nTechnical Skills\nComfortable with infrastructure-as-code (ideally Terraform) and building CI/CD pipelines (ideally GitHub Actions).\nProficient software engineering skills, and comfortable working in Linux.\nWorking knowledge of monitoring and observability tooling, and solid debugging instincts across logs, traces, and metrics.\nFamiliarity with
