Apply now!\nQualifications\nEffectively read, write and communicate in English with residents and other employees.\nFood handlers permit as required by provincial law/local/state and/or Company standards.\nServ safe is required\nAble to follow and read recipes and production guides.\nKnowledge of food handling, preparation, cooking and service.\nResponsibilities\nAssist with the preparation and presentation of meals.\nProvide a high level of customer service. \nWork closely with the Executive Chef and/or Sous Chef to keep residents satisfied with food and dining programs.\nMaintain kitchen in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition at all times.\nAdhere to cleaning schedules as assigned. \nEnsure that all food is received, stored, and prepared according to company standards.\nAssist cook with preparation and presentation of meals and snacks in accordance with Company recipes and production guides.\nKeep kitchen floors clean (sweeps and mops) and trash emptied.\nAssist with the transportation and storage of food and supplies. \nAssist cooks as requested. \nAdhere to standard food safety practices.\nAssist with preparing and executing special events, banquets, and theme meals.\nOperate and maintain kitchen equipment in a clean and sanitary manner.\nWill attend pre-meal stand-up in the kitchen prior to meal service.\nMay perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.\nSalary Range\nThe wage range for this position is $13.00/hr -
