We are hired to put working systems into production and to leave the\nclient able to run them.\nPURPOSE OF THE ROLE\nYou build\ncustomer facing AI agents that answer real enquiries correctly, in English and\nArabic, and you are accountable for how they behave in production. Our first\ndeployment for this role is a bilingual customer service agent for a major\nclient in the UAE energy sector, covering web, messaging and voice.\nWHAT YOU WILL DO\nDesign and build AI agents that resolve customer\nenquiries from approved knowledge sources, with answers traceable to source\ncontent\nOwn retrieval quality: how content is prepared,\nchunked, indexed and refreshed, and how the agent behaves when it has no good\nanswer\nBuild and tune bilingual behaviour, including language\ndetection, switching mid conversation, and Arabic responses that read naturally\nto a Gulf audience\nDefine escalation rules and the handover to human\nagents, so the customer is never left in a loop\nSet up evaluation before launch: test sets, accuracy\nmeasurement, regression checks on every change\nInstrument the agent so resolution rate, escalation\nvolume and response accuracy are visible to the client in reporting\nWork in the client's environment under their security\nand data residency requirements\nHand over documentation and run training so the\nclient's own team can operate and extend the agent\nWHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE IN THE FIRST 90 DAYS\nA working agent in a client environment, answering a\ndefined enquiry set in both languages\nAn evaluation set the client agrees represents their\ncustomers, with measured accuracy against it\nEscalation and handover rules signed off by the\nclient's service team\nESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE\nThree years or more building software, with at least\none year on LLM based applications that reached real users\nProduction experience with retrieval over enterprise\ncontent, and a clear view on why retrieval quality fails\nStrong Python, and comfort working inside someone\nelse's codebase and cloud account\nExperience designing conversation flows, including\nfailure paths, not only the ideal path\nEvidence of measuring an AI system rather than\ndemonstrating it\nAble to work onsite with client teams and explain\ntechnical decisions to non technical stakeholders\nDESIRABLE\nArabic language skills, particularly Gulf dialect\nhandling in speech or text\nExperience with contact centre platforms, WhatsApp\nBusiness or voice channels\nWork in a regulated environment: banking, energy,\nhealthcare or government\nExposure to guardrails, prompt injection defence and\ncontent safety in customer facing
