The Financial Analyst partners cross-functionally to develop budgets and forecasts, analyze financial performance, explain variances and provide actionable insights to management and business leaders.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:\nServe as a financial business partner to assigned departments\nSupport the development of the annual budget and quarterly forecasting processes for assigned departments, including leading meetings, analyzing assumptions and preparing forecast updates\nPrepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and supplemental information\nAssist in the monthly close process by attending review meetings with department owners in conjunction with the accounting team, providing commentary on variances, and updating partner departments with results\nAnalyze financial results to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement KPIs and metrics aligned with organizational goals\nIdentify opportunities to improve reporting, forecasting, KPI development, operational performance metrics, and financial analysis processes.\nConduct ad-hoc analysis and projects as requested by senior management\nADDITIONAL ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:\nPerform work in a reliable, timely, and professional manner consistent with business needs.\nManage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced business environment.\nUse sound judgment when analyzing information, making recommendations, and escalating issues as appropriate.\nAbility to prioritize various duties and multi-task as required\nAbility to successfully work with others\nAdditional duties and projects as assigned\nBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:\nBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field required, or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.\n2-3 years of financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, or related finance experience.\nAdvanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and strong working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint; experience with financial modeling, data analysis, and presentation of financial results preferred.\nSelf-motivated, high initiative, and ability to work with minimal supervision\nStrong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to summarize financial results, explain variances, and prepare clear reports and presentations for business partners.\nStrong organizational and interpersonal skills with interests in building strong business partnering relationships\nDetail-oriented with appropriate organizational and analytical skills\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nExperience working in a manufacturing and/or medical device environment\nExperience applying AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency and insight generation in financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, or data visualization, while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and appropriate review of outputs.\nExperience in using PowerBI for data visualization, reporting, and dashboard creation\nExperience in Oracle Fusion\nProficiency in SQL for data retrieval, manipulation, query and analysis\nAccounting/US GAAP knowledge\nData analysis experience\nOTHER REQUIREMENTS:\nAbility to regularly walk, sit, or stand as needed\nAbility to occasionally bend and push/pull as needed\nAbility to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check\nAtriCure has a variety of benefits available for US based employees and their families.
