The Lead Shipping Clerk will be a vital liaison between the Distribution Manager & the warehouse team, involved in all components of the shipping department. This person is responsible for leading and coordinating the Domestic Pick/Pack/Ship area, as well as the accuracy of the inventory and transactions within the inventory system. This person will lead and follow all inventory processes and procedures with an emphasis on quality, accuracy, and continuous workflow. This person will be required to participate in all physical inventory activities. This person will also be required to operate a pallet jack and forklift.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:\nDemonstrates an extremely high level of understanding of the inventory/order processing system in Oracle, UPS WorldShip, and FedEx Ship Manager, with the ability to train less experienced members of the staff\nLead and apply the research of inaccuracies and suggest corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence\nDemonstrates the ability to lead others and work independently and achieve a high level of work volume and accuracy\nDemonstrates an extremely high level of shipping and required documentation knowledge\nRequired to be cross trained to the Shipping Clerk description to assist with picking of orders\nResponsible for the integrity of the inventory system data for their assigned areas of responsibility\nResponsibility to maintain records as required by the quality system\nLead and coordinates with team members to identify and communicate product/material issues and shortages that may disrupt sales orders\nLeads and coordinates the responsibility for the organization and cleanliness of their assigned inventory areas\nLeads and coordinates improving processes throughout the department and willingness to teach others\nADDITIONAL ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:\nRegular and predictable work performance\nAbility to work under fast-paced conditions\nAbility to make decisions and use good judgment\nAbility to prioritize various duties and multitask as required\nAbility to successfully work with others\nAdditional duties as assigned\nBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:\nHigh school diploma required\n3-year knowledge of AtriCure products and related technical information or 3+ years of experience in a shipping lead, shipping supervisor, or similar warehouse leadership role.\nGreat computer/data entry skills\nExceptional organizational and verbal communication skills\nExtremely detail-oriented and able to multi-task\nMaintains professional interactions with customers and employees\nSeeks out opportunities to learn new skills and acquire information\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nFedEx and/or UPS shipping experience\nProficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite\n3 years’ experience working with inventory and making transactions in Oracle\nProficient knowledge of cGMP and ISO standards\n\nOTHER REQUIREMENTS:\nAbility to regularly walk, sit, or stand needed\nAbility to occasionally bend and push/pull as needed\nAbility to regularly lift up to 25 pounds\nAbility to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check\nAtriCure has a variety of benefits available for US based employees and their families.
