The role coordinates with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely financial reporting and offers growth opportunities within a dynamic Finance department.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDraft SEC-compliant financial statements, footnotes, and external reporting documents under U.S. GAAP\nPrepare SEC filings, including Forms 8-K, 10-Q, 10-K, 3, and 4; proxy statements; and Conflict Minerals filings\nDevelop quarterly Board, committee, and internal financial reporting materials\nPrepare annual 401(k) and foreign statutory reporting documentation\nManage audit requests for financial statement, SEC, 401(k), SOX and foreign statutory audits\nMaintain process flows, narratives, and control matrices for financial controls\nSupport risk-based SOX audit planning, internal control reporting and entity-level control testing\nImprove financial reporting processes and internal controls\nSupport special projects and management initiatives\nWork independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment\nPrioritize and manage multiple tasks\nPerform additional duties as assigned\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field\n3+ years of experience in external audit, accounting, or related field\nAdvanced U.S. GAAP knowledge\nStrong attention to detail\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nSelf-motivated and proactive\nPublic accounting experience or progress toward CPA certification highly preferred\nExternal reporting internship or work experience is a plus\nEffective project management and deadline management skills advantageous\nWorking Conditions:\nWork onsite at least 60% of the time\nRegularly walk, sit, or stand as needed\nOccasionally bend, push, or pull as needed\nMust successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screen, consistent with applicable laws\nAtriCure has a variety of benefits available for US based employees and their families.
