ATS provides world-leading automation tooling to the nuclear energy sector for new reactor builds, refurbishment, operations and maintenance.\nThe role of the Project Coordinator is to work with the customer, project management, and manufacturing teams to provide project and technical support. Major responsibilities include coordinating, facilitating and driving project scoping, planning and execution to ensure work is completed to the required quality standards on schedule and on budget.\nEssential Job Duties\nPreparation and maintenance of schedules and resource forecasting.\nCoordinating, facilitating and driving project scoping, planning, execution, and close out.\nCoordinate the clarification of design and specification requirements and arrange for necessary changes.\nCoordinate and participate in the preparation of specifications, bid packages, evaluation of tenders, and purchasing recommendations.\nArrange and lead meetings to coordinate the requirements of internal and external customers.\nLead design reviews and team meetings as required.\nReview labor estimates, schedules, execution plans, inspection and test plans and project oversight plans. Gather input from stakeholder departments and agencies to ensure project requirements are captured and detailed in the project documents.\nResponsible for communicating schedule update and progress on design tasks to the Engineering Managers and the Project Manager.\nReview and maintain awareness of all corporate and local procedures pertinent to engineering, quality assurance and project management. Maintain process compliance during project execution and advise supervisor if compliance cannot be achieved.\nOrganize documentation, including quotes, correspondence, requisitions, drawings, schedules, etc. on projects you are supervising.\nReview requests for proposal documents and participate in the preparation of proposal.\nEnsure completion of project milestones.\nMaintain project tracking system.\nEnsure adherence to DVM process.\nEnsure escalation and closure of blocking points.\nJob Specifications\nThe employee may be required to stand, walk, push, pull, reach overhead, and bend to the floor.\nExert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or exert up to 10 pounds of force frequently. \nVisual Acuity - Normal requirements for reading written instructions and computer screens\nHearing Ability - Normal requirements for understanding verbal instructions. \nQualifications\nA post-secondary degree or diploma in Engineering, or alternately a trade certificate in a related filed is preferred.\nA minimum of three years of experience in factory automation or manufacturing environment, including experience leading teams or projects is preferred.\nA working knowledge of automation principles including pneumatics, hydraulics, controls, and electrical devices is preferred.\nProficient with Microsoft software tools including Word, Excel and Power Point etc.\nJoin our globally growing team at ATS Industrial Automation where we create complex automation solutions at the highest level that sustainably impact lives around the world.\nAt ATS, a publicly traded global company with a proud 40-year history, we help drive the future with our factory-wide automation solutions.
