This position will rely on a strong ability to be successful in a matrix organization where project team members report into their own functional teams.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nDeliver assigned projects within the PMO portfolio, meeting scope, schedule, cost, and quality commitments.\nTravel up to 30% to SP facilities, vendors, and customer sites (including occasional international travel), as required.\nTrack and report project performance (schedule, cost, risks, issues, and quality), and lead structured problem solving to address variances and prevent recurrence.\nProvide stage gate governance\nServe as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders (including customers and end users), driving clear communication, timely decisions, and effective issue escalation/resolution.\nPartner cross-functionally across sales, portfolio management, estimating, engineering, service, manufacturing, and leadership to implement standard work, drive continuous improvement, and execute corrective/preventive actions identified through root-cause analysis.\nQualifications: Education, Experience, and Skills\nEducation and Experience\nA minimum of a Bachelor of Science Degree from a four-year college or university; or five to ten year's related training and experience in a technical, engineering, or science oriented field; or an equivalent combination of both education and experience.\nFive years of project management experience with experience in the following areas:\nProjects involving manufacturing and fabrication of engineered equipment.\nProjects for high-profile R&D, strategic, IT and/or CAPEX. \nProjects involving field installations and commissioning of equipment on-site.\nWorking directly with end-users and contractors in a commercial capacity.\nPresenting and interacting with executive management on a regular basis.\nContinuous improvement and change management of business processes.\nWhy SP Industries Inc.?
