- Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractor resources.

- Review project drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and contractual requirements.

- Identify potential project delays, material shortages, and operational challenges before they impact project completion.

- Conduct regular project progress reviews and communicate updates to internal teams and customers.

Team Leadership & Coordination

- Provide direction and support to field installation technicians and lead technicians.

- Coordinate daily and weekly installation priorities with field personnel.

- Ensure technicians have the necessary information, materials, and resources to complete assigned tasks.

- Monitor installation quality, productivity, and adherence to project requirements.

- Assist in resolving technical challenges and escalating issues when necessary.

- Promote accountability, teamwork, safety, and professional development among installation personnel.

Customer & Contractor Relations

- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, general contractors, and project stakeholders.

- Attend construction meetings, project coordination meetings, and customer progress reviews.

- Maintain professional communication regarding schedules, project status, changes, and outstanding requirements.

- Coordinate with other trades to ensure installation activities align with overall construction schedules.

- Address customer concerns and work toward timely, professional resolutions.

Financial & Resource Management

- Monitor project labor hours, material costs, and overall budget performance.

- Identify opportunities to improve project efficiency and profitability.

- Manage project scope changes, change orders, and additional work requests.

- Coordinate material procurement and track equipment deliveries.

- Support progress billing, project forecasting, and financial closeout.

Quality Control & Project Closeout

- Ensure installations meet company standards, manufacturer requirements, and applicable codes.

- Coordinate system programming, testing, commissioning, and customer acceptance.

- Manage punch lists and ensure outstanding installation issues are resolved promptly.

- Oversee completion of as-built drawings, system documentation, training records, and closeout packages.

- Ensure projects are fully completed, documented, and transitioned to the appropriate service or support teams.

Required Qualifications

- Working knowledge of access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and related electronic security systems.

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple active projects and competing priorities.

- Experience coordinating installation teams, subcontractors, and project schedules.

- Ability to interpret construction drawings, installation plans, and technical specifications.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software.

- Ability to manage budgets, labor allocations, project documentation, and deadlines.

- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to assigned project sites.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with enterprise-level security platforms such as LenelS2, Genetec, Avigilon, or similar systems.

- Previous experience as a security installation technician, lead technician, or field supervisor.

- Familiarity with structured cabling, network infrastructure, and IP-based security devices.

- Knowledge of project estimating, change order management, and construction coordination.

- PMP, CAPM, or relevant industry certifications are a plus.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for a proactive leader who takes ownership of their projects and understands that successful project management requires more than maintaining a schedule. The right candidate will anticipate challenges, communicate effectively, support field personnel, maintain customer confidence, and drive projects to full completion.

This individual should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, making informed decisions, holding teams accountable, and continuously looking for ways to improve operational efficiency and project delivery.
