Our company enjoys remarkable tenure and we take pride in our employees’ ability to grow their career and find long-term success at ATS.\n\nJOB SUMMARY:\n\nAs a crucial member of our Construction team, the Group Operations Supervisor holds significant responsibility for fostering the growth and direction of a team of Project Managers, Engineers, and Technicians. Anticipated to allocate 25-40% of time to supervisory duties, the incumbent will also engage in hands-on project work for the remaining duration. Supervisors will have the capability to design and engineer control system hardware and software programming based on project requirements. Additionally, they provide insightful analysis of building control and mechanical system performance as a complete systems and campus level.\n\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\n\nControl System Design and Programming\nEnsure proper engineering, start up, commissioning, and closeout of assigned projects\nAssist in development/management of department initiatives\nOverall fiscal responsibility of assigned projects\nOverall labor planning for group\nEnsure assigned projects are completed on time and within budget\nParticipate in quartile goal reviews with direct reports\nParticipate in performance appraisals\nSupport training and development plans for direct reports\n\nSKILLS AND ABILITIES:\n\nExceptional interpersonal and communication skills\nAbility to work well within a team in both leadership and support roles\nExcellent troubleshooting skills\nExperience with electronics and basic electrical circuits\nKnowledge of DDC (direct digital control) Theory and Applications\nAbility to work independently and unsupervised\nProficiency in ACAD\nRobust programming skills\nProven analytical skills\n\nWORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:\n\nThis position requires a combination of working in an office environment and routine visits to project jobsites up to 60% of working hours. Project jobsites present typical construction and outdoor conditions that require the use of personal protective equipment for safety purposes. Lifting and exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds more frequently is required. Must be comfortable climbing a ladder infrequently.
