Our company enjoys remarkable tenure and we take pride in our employees’ ability to grow their career and find long-term success at ATS.\n\nJOB SUMMARY:\n\nThis role provides overall project management for direct-to-owner energy conservation projects performed by ATS. The Project Manager is responsible for managing project resources, including finances, labor, documentation, and schedules, to ensure successful project delivery.\nThis position interfaces with customers, professional engineers, architects, utility providers, the Washington State Department of Enterprise Services and Commerce, and various subcontractors. The Project Manager oversees functional performance testing and other grant- or contract-required activities and ensures all reporting is completed accurately and on time.\nThe role also serves as the primary customer contact, including pricing discussions and change order negotiations. In addition, the Project Manager supervises subcontractors and suppliers and regularly visits project jobsites to support execution.\n\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\n\nManage the transition of projects from pre-contract through design, construction, and completion phases\nIdentify appropriate internal and external resources to meet project goals and requirements\nServe as the primary point of contact for clients during post-contract phases\nDevelop and manage project schedules and construction plans\nCreate site-specific safety plans to prevent personnel injuries and ensure safety compliance\nManage the billing and invoicing process to clients and from subcontractors\nMonitor, review, and manage overall project financial performance\nAssist with scope development and identify creative solutions to project challenges and issues\nDraft and manage subcontractor documents\nOversee requirements and reporting for utility incentives and state commerce grants\n\nSKILLS AND ABILITIES:\n\nStrong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills\nHighly effective at managing resources, including time, schedules, finances, and subcontractors\nProficient in project planning and scheduling, including associated tools and software\nKnowledge and understanding of building systems, including:Building Automation & Energy Management Control Systems\n\nHVAC systems\nLighting and lighting controls\n Energy metering (electric, gas, and water)\n Ability to read and understand project documentation (plans, specifications, and contracts)\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision\nHighly organized with strong analytical skills\n\nWORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:\n\nRepetitive motion, including substantial use of wrists, hands, and fingers\nSedentary work, exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects; walking and standing required occasionally\nClose visual acuity required for tasks such as preparing and analyzing data, transcribing, viewing computer monitors, and extensive reading\nClimbing, including ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and similar structures using hands, arms, feet, and legs\nAnnual base salary ranges from$80,000-$100,000+ depending on experience and years of experience\nAdditional information about our benefits\n\nCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITS\n\nPOSITION TYPE AND HOURS\n\nFull-time, exempt\nTypical Monday - Friday working hours with flexibility as needed\n\nCREDENTIALS AND EXPERIENCE\n\nEngineering or construction management undergraduate degree preferred\nEquivalent combination of education and experience\nIndustry experience preferred\n\nATS is an equal opportunity employer and we are committed to complying with all federal, state, and local laws providing equal employment opportunities.
