This position leads the teams responsible for access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, intercom, and related integrated security systems.\nThe ideal candidate is an experienced operations leader who can effectively coordinate people, materials, subcontractors, and technical resources while ensuring projects and service work are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with company and industry quality standards.\nThe Security Operations Manager also serves as a liaison between Construction Operations and other ATS groups and departments, including senior management.\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nProvide leadership and vision for the Security Construction Operations group, which may include GOMs (Group Operations Managers), GOSs (Group Operations Supervisors), PMs (Project Managers), engineers, technicians, and support staff. Lead the team in successfully executing security installations across the business sector while supporting the growth and development of individual ATS team members.\n Implement and lead the company’s Vision, Values, and Strategies.\nProvide leadership in the recruitment and retention of Operations team members.\nPromote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable safety requirements.\nManage the monthly project re-estimate process.\nOversee security system design and ensure alignment with project requirements.\nManage the startup and commissioning process for Building Security Systems.\nManage the as-built drawing and documentation process.\nManage the owner training process.\nMaintain overall financial responsibility for project execution and ensure projects are completed within budget.\nAssist with collections and ATS project receivables.\nManage labor planning for the department and coordinate support across other ATS groups as needed.\nConduct performance appraisals and quarterly goal reviews with direct reports.\nManage mentoring, training, and development plans for direct reports.\nSupport sales personnel with operational planning, technical input, customer meetings, and project pursuits.\nCollaborate with IT personnel and customers to address networking, cybersecurity, remote access, and system integration requirements.\nSKILLS AND ABILITIES:\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills.\nDemonstrated leadership and team management abilities.\nExperience managing technicians, engineers, and subcontractors.\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\nWorking knowledge of electronics and basic electrical circuits.\nKnowledge of physical security systems, including access control, video management systems (VMS), and intrusion detection applications.\nAbility to interpret contracts, specifications, construction drawings, submittals, and project schedules.\nAbility to work independently and manage responsibilities with minimal supervision.\nAbility to manage competing priorities and make sound decisions in time-sensitive situations.\nWorking knowledge of programming concepts and applications.\nStrong analytical skills.\nCREDENTIALS AND EXPERIENCE:\nEngineering undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience\n7+ years of industry experience\n3+ years of management experience\nBuilding Physical Security System experience\nExperience of direct responsibility for managing and meeting financial targets or budgets\nRelevant industry and/or manufacturer certifications is a
