Still University's Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health (ATSU-ASDOH) is seeking an nonexempt Student Research Assistant on the Mesa, Arizona campus. This position reports to the Post Doctoral Research Fellow and the Professor and Assistant Dean for Research. The Student Research Assistant will support ongoing activities of the ATSU SalivaEpi Biobank by performing patient recruitment and enrollment. Activities could extend to saliva sample collection, sample storage, and data entry. This position provides hands-on experience in research, and is ideal for students interested in oral health sciences, dentistry, public health, or biomedical research. This position also supports professional development in research ethics, data management, and clinical research operations.\nDuties & Responsibilities:\nRecruit participants to the project.\nObtain participant consent.\nPerform sample collection and sample storage.\nEnter and verify clinical data into the database.\nPrepare collection materials and ensure proper labeling, handling, and storage of biospecimens.\nMaintain accurate records for sample tracking and quality control.\nAdhere to confidentiality, data security, and biosafety requirements.\nParticipate in required research training (e.g., human subjects protection, Project SOPs).\nAssist with general Biobank organization and administrative tasks as needed.\nRequirements\nEducation & Experience:\nTwo year college certificate or equivalent\nCoursework or background in biology, health sciences, dentistry, or public health\nInterest in research, dentistry, healthcare, or biomedical sciences.\nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.\nAbility to follow protocols and work with human research participants.\nProfessional communication skills and reliability.\nA.T.
