Still University is seeking an exempt Fellow Postdoctoral Research on the Mesa, Arizona campus.\nDuties & Responsibilities:\nResponsible for day-to-day coordination of clinical outcomes investigations organized and relevant to post-doctoral training.\nIdentify, develop and implement a research study to advance post-doctoral training and expertise.\nMonitor recruitment and retention of research subjects.\nProvide and support research data handling functions such as collection, processing, quality monitoring, and entry.\nSupport ongoing activities of the ATSU SalivaEpi Biobank by performing patient recruitment and enrollment. \nActivities could extend to recruit participants, obtain participant consent, and perform saliva sample collection, sample storage, and data entry.\nSchedule research protocol activities.\nCoordinate start-up activities for clinical research protocols.\nEnsure that the goals, objectives, and activities related to research projects are achieved and evaluated in a timely manner; moreover, organize/facilitate appropriate planning, development, and implementation of assigned scholarly activities.\nCollaborate with community stakeholders to establish partnerships and engage the community in research initiatives, promoting community-based research principles.\nAssist in research dissemination including oral presentations, posters and manuscript preparation.\nAssist with management of fiscal and physical research resources.\nAssist researchers in the preparation and submission of progress reports and financial status reports.\nMonitor research grant programmatic activities for timeliness and appropriateness/accuracy.\nAssist in the production of activity reports from current clinical research projects.\nAssist in research grant proposal development.\nSupport research protocol development.\nOther duties as assigned\nRequirements\nEducation & Experience:\nDemonstrated expertise in technical mentorship, specifically guiding students through the full research lifecycle by breaking down complex statistical modeling, overseeing reproducible programming workflows, and teaching systematic research methods. \nPhD/doctorate in an oral health or other health professions field (e.g., DPH, PhD in Epidemiology, etc.)\nBe computer literate.\nFamiliar with program evaluation techniques and budget management.\nInteract well with patients, including those with special needs, and their caregivers.\nExperience with laboratory procedures is preferred, particularly molecular biology techniques and workflows related to biospecimen processing, DNA extraction, genotyping, and other laboratory methods commonly used in genetic and genomic research.\nTeam player who can also work independently\nAssertive, possess a positive and proactive approach, work's well under pressure, and highly professional.\nPossess the ability to work well with persons of diverse educational socioeconomic, and ethnic backgrounds.\nOutgoing and personable; detail oriented\nA.T.
