We're seeking a Lead Systems Engineer (Azure Cloud & DevOps Platform Engineer) to support Azure infrastructure engineering, cloud migration initiatives, platform automation, and application modernization efforts supporting critical enterprise systems.\nWhat You'll Do\nSupport architecture, automation, and operational support for Azure-based infrastructure and platform services.\nDrive migration and modernization of legacy applications and infrastructure to Azure.\nDesign and implement CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code, and deployment automation.\nSupport enterprise data platforms including Snowflake and Databricks.\nPartner across engineering, security, architecture, and operations teams to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable solutions.\nImplement cloud-native architectures leveraging containers, Kubernetes, APIs, and microservices.\nEstablish monitoring, logging, performance, and reliability practices across cloud and hybrid environments.\nLead production support, troubleshooting, incident response, and platform standardization initiatives.\nMentor engineers on DevOps, automation, cloud engineering, and operational excellence.\nWhat You'll Need\nDeep expertise with Microsoft Azure, including IaaS, PaaS, networking, storage, identity, and governance.\nExperience leading cloud migration and application modernization programs.\nStrong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.\nHands-on experience with Terraform, ARM, Bicep, Helm, or related IaC technologies.\nExperience with Docker, Kubernetes, AKS, and container-based deployments.\nScripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Python, or Bash.\nUnderstanding of hybrid cloud architectures, enterprise security, IAM, and platform governance.\nExperience supporting production environments, monitoring, incident management, and operational reliability.\nWhat You'll Bring\n5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, platform engineering, infrastructure, or systems architecture.\nProven success leading enterprise Azure transformation, modernization, or platform engineering initiatives.\nExperience supporting large-scale, business-critical applications and services.\nStrong leadership, mentoring, communication, and collaboration skills.\nExperience with Snowflake, Databricks, Terraform, Kubernetes, Azure DevOps, and related cloud technologies.\nAbility to influence architecture, operational strategy, and engineering best practices across teams.\nPreferred Qualifications\nAzure certifications (Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer, Azure Administrator, etc.).\nExperience with Snowflake and Databricks administration in Azure.\nBackground in large-scale Agile/SAFe environments.\nExperience introducing automation, developer productivity improvements, or AI-assisted engineering tools.\nTelecom or large enterprise technology experience preferred.\nThis role is ideal for a technical practitioner passionate about Azure cloud transformation, DevOps automation, application modernization, and building highly reliable enterprise platforms at scale.\n\nOur Lead System Engineering jobs earn between $141,300.00 - $237,400.00 USD Annual.
