What you'll do as an AT&T Cable Splicing Technician:\nMake and complete splices in various types of communication cables\nReview and analyze complex schematic drawings\nUse electrical test instruments to determine defective wire or fiber\nRepair and maintain outside cable facilities\nMay climb poles and ladders or operate hydraulic aerial lifts mounted on trucks\nWork outdoors in all kinds of weather Our Cable Splicing Technicians must have the following:\nValid state driver’s license\nMeet 300lbs weight limit (including tools and materials) due to safety restrictions\nAbility to perceive differences in wire and cable colors\nAbility to lift and move up to 100lbs\nAT&T will consider for employment qualified applicants in a manner consistent with the requirements of federal, state and local laws\nQualify on pre-employment screening Test study guides can be found here Technical Mechanical Test (TMT III) .\nOur Cable Splicing Technician - A earn between $12 - $29 hourly.
