In this role, you’ll take charge of all operational aspects at our warehouse location. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, excel under pressure, and are eager to exceed expectations.\nLeadership: Embrace a leadership role within the CSSL Team.\nMultitasking: Efficiently handle multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.\nPerformance: Thrive under pressure and actively seek challenges.\nCollaboration: Work seamlessly with peers to achieve peak performance.\nOrganization: Proficiently use Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (experience with SQL and Power BI is a plus).\nDocumentation: Clearly document team performance and address HR issues.\nSupervision: Directly oversee logistics personnel (hourly/union employees).\nTeam management/Coaching and training: Hiring and disciplinary responsibilities and coaching and training team members.\nProcesses: Adhere to established procedures for efficient task completion.\nEstablish goals and maintain records to measure productivity, quality, safety, and attendance.\nUtilize a variety of mechanized systems to provide balance accuracy, create efficiencies in report data, track costs and maintain budget analysis.\nSelect, develop and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of functions.\nWork on issues where analysis of situation or data requires review of relevant factors.\nMay also coordinate the collection and delivery of company supplies and media. \nExercise judgment within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate action.\nInfluence decisions regarding the hiring, firing, disciplinary action, promotional activity, and pay decisions for subordinates.\nResponsible for the following areas for direct reports - career planning, performance evaluations, and ensuring compliance with company policies.\nProcess Improvement and Implementation: Define, design, and implement logistics processes and strategies, leading initiatives to improve efficiency and support key strategic goals.\nProject Leadership and Collaboration: Lead multiple logistics projects, collaborate with internal stakeholders, and act as a Subject Matter Expert for supply chain initiatives and product launches.\nReporting, Analysis, and Problem Resolution: Conduct sophisticated financial and operational analysis, prepare reports, resolve complex problems, and support the development of goals and budgets.\nVendor Relationship Management and Performance Monitoring: Develop and maintain strategic and tactical relationships with logistics vendors, monitor their performance against established targets, and implement corrective actions as needed.\nRequirements:\nThis position has the potential of being over 40 hours per week, depending on the needs of the business. Includes nights and weekends.\n2 to 5 years relevant experience in area of responsibility.\n2 to 5 years relevant Team/People Management experience. (Hourly/Union Employee Management/Hiring/Coaching/training experience a must and more than 5 years is a plus).\n2 to 5 years relevant Warehousing/Inventory experience\nValid United States and State of Indiana driver’s license and clear driving record.\nFork Lift Certification and Fork Lift experience\nPreferred Requirements\nUnion Employee Management (Experience handling Union Grievances and documenting all employee records for detailed tracking purposes)\nEffectiveness Measurement Environment, Health and Safety (EH&S) Compliance Management (Organized and tracking to remail compliant)\nJob Contribution:\nOversees the daily operations of their team, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
