The experience can be a combination of degree and work history. This can be a High School degree and 12 years of work history OR an Associate’s and 10 years, a Bachelors’ and 8 years, a Masters and 6 years or a PhD and 4 years of work history. \nStrong understanding of network protocols, architecture, and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN). \nHands-on experience with network troubleshooting and performance optimization. \nProficiency with network monitoring and management tools such as OpenText NOM, Nagios, PRTG Network Monitor, Wireshark, etc. \nProficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and integration with network tools. \nFamiliarity with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef. \nAbility to create and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and policies. \nRelevant certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or CompTIA Network+\nDesired Qualifications:\nStrongly preferred: experience with OpenText’s Network Node Manager/NOM. \nExperience with ServiceNow ITOM \nExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues. \nStrong data analysis skills to generate actionable insights from network data. \nExcellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with IT staff and stakeholders. \nAbility to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to team goals \nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field \nOur Network Tools Engineer - Expert's earn between $89,200 - $183,097.
