This individual serves as a senior strategic leader responsible for aligning business objectives, operating models, data, applications, infrastructure, and emerging technologies to create a scalable, secure, resilient, and cost-effective technology ecosystem. The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks, business capability planning, application portfolio management, cloud transformation, AI-enabled solutions, governance, and technology modernization. This role partners closely with business executives, product organizations, engineering teams, security, operations, and technology leaders to establish architecture standards, drive strategic investment decisions, and enable long-term business growth and innovation.\nDefine and lead enterprise architecture strategy, target-state architecture, and transformation roadmaps that align business objectives with scalable, secure, resilient, and cost-effective technology solutions.\nPartner with business executives, product organizations, engineering teams, security, operations, and technology leaders to understand business drivers and translate them into practical architecture direction.\nDesign high-level architectural blueprints across applications, data, infrastructure, cloud, AI-enabled solutions, and emerging technologies.\nGuide technology selection, solution design, and implementation approach while ensuring alignment to enterprise architecture standards and long-term modernization goals.\nEstablish and promote architecture frameworks, governance processes, reusable patterns, standards, and practices across lines of business and value streams.\nEvaluate emerging technologies, including AI-enabled capabilities, and determine where they can create measurable business value.\nSupport strategic investment decisions by providing architecture insight, risk assessment, modernization recommendations, and executive-level guidance.\nServe as a senior technical advisor and mentor, helping teams solve complex architecture challenges and make sound technology decisions.\nWhat you’ll need\n7+ years of related experience.\nExperience with LeanIX or comparable enterprise architecture management, application portfolio management, or business capability mapping tools.\nExtensive experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, technology strategy, or a closely related architecture leadership role.\nStrong experience defining enterprise technology roadmaps, target-state architecture, modernization strategies, and architecture standards.\nHands-on experience with AI-enabled solutions, AI strategy, or practical application of AI capabilities within enterprise technology environments.\nDeep understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks, business capability planning, application portfolio management, cloud transformation, governance, and technology modernization.\nAbility to work across business, product, engineering, security, operations, and technology teams to align solutions with enterprise goals.\nStrong executive communication skills, including the ability to influence senior leaders and clearly communicate architecture vision, tradeoffs, risks, and recommendations.\nAbility to evaluate and recommend platforms, technologies, methodologies, and architecture patterns for enterprise-wide use.\nWhat you’ll bring\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred.\nExperience leading high-impact enterprise transformation, cloud, data, infrastructure, application modernization, or AI-driven initiatives.\nExperience working in large, complex, matrixed enterprise environments with multiple lines of business and value streams.\nAbility to balance strategic vision with practical execution, helping teams move from architecture concepts to implementation outcomes.\nStrong knowledge of architecture governance, standards, reusable patterns, and modernization best practices.\nExperience influencing technology investment decisions and helping leaders prioritize architecture initiatives based on business value, risk, cost, and scalability.\nCuriosity around emerging technologies and the ability to identify where innovation can improve business outcomes, operational efficiency, and customer experience.\nArchitecture certifications or relevant technology certifications are a plus.\n#LI-Onsite Full-time office role.\nReady to join our team?\nApply today.\n\nOur Principal Enterprise Architecture jobs earn between $155,400.00 - $261,100.00 USD Annual.
