As AI is a core part of our engineering strategy, candidates are expected to leverage AI throughout the software development lifecycle to improve productivity, software quality, operational efficiency, delivery speed, and customer outcomes.\nWhat You'll D o:\nDesign, build, deploy, and support cloud-native platforms that manage millions of connected broadband devices.\nDevelop scalable applications, APIs, and microservices using modern software engineering practices.\nLead technical design, architecture, and platform evolution for broadband device management solutions leveraging TR-069 (CWMP) and TR-369 (USP).\nBuild and operate highly available solutions on AWS and Kubernetes.\nImprove platform reliability through automation, observability, CI/CD, testing, and DevOps best practices.\nTroubleshoot complex production issues and participate in on-call support.\nLeverage AI-powered tools to accelerate development, testing, monitoring, operational support, and engineering productivity.\nCollaborate with product, architecture, security, operations, and vendor teams to deliver business-critical capabilities.\nWhat You'll Need:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.\n7+ years of software engineering experience building and operating large-scale distributed systems.\nStrong expertise in broadband device management technologies, including TR-069 (CWMP) and TR-369 (USP).\nHands-on development experience with Java and/or Python.\nExperience developing cloud-native applications in AWS.\nExperience with Kubernetes, containers, microservices, REST APIs, and CI/CD pipelines.\nStrong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.\nAbility to work independently and drive initiatives with minimal supervision.\nWhat You'll Bring:\nExperience supporting platforms that manage millions of broadband devices.\nKnowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar).\nExperience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, or ELK.\nExperience applying AI to software development, testing, operations, or intelligent automation.\nProven ability to lead technical initiatives, influence architecture decisions, and mentor engineers.\nA passion for engineering excellence, continuous improvement, and delivering reliable customer experiences.\n\nOur Principal Software Engineering jobs earn between $174,100.00 - $261,100.00 USD Annual.
