This role is ideal for experienced professionals who thrive in high-pressure environments, excel at solving complex technical challenges, and are passionate about building resilient, secure, and high-performing systems that support millions of customers and critical business operations.\nDatabase Reliability Engineering: Architect and implement proactive solutions to ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and optimal performance across MySQL, PostgreSQL and Oracle environments.\n\nIncident Response & Troubleshooting: Lead rapid response efforts for major database incidents, perform root cause analysis, and drive resolution to minimize business impact.\n\nPerformance Tuning & Optimization: Analyze system metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement tuning strategies to ensure fast, efficient data access and query performance.\n\nDatabase Architecture & Engineering: Design and evolve database schemas, storage strategies, and deployment models to support new applications and business growth.\n\nSecurity & Compliance: Enforce robust security controls, manage access, and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.\n\nTechnical Leadership: Promote best practices and foster a culture of operational excellence and continuous learning.\n\nCross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with application, infrastructure, and security teams to deliver integrated, scalable, and secure database solutions.\n\nDocumentation & Knowledge Sharing: Maintain detailed documentation, run-books, and post-incident reviews to promote transparency, learning, and operational maturity.\n\nCover working time: 9 am - 5 pm, with occasional flexibility as per business need\n\nWhat You’ll Need\n5+ years of hands-on experience managing and administering databases across multiple platforms.\n\nDeep expertise in MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle\n\nIndustry-recognized certifications in one or more database technologies\n\nStrong command of performance tuning, backup and recovery strategies, and database security best practices.\n\nProven experience in designing, implementing, and managing the full lifecycle of enterprise database systems.\n\nSharp analytical and troubleshooting skills with a keen attention to detail and system reliability.\n\nSolid academic foundation with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.\n\nWhat You’ll Bring\nA strategic mindset with the ability to lead complex database projects from concept to execution.\n\nProven experience mentoring junior team members and influencing technical decisions.\n\nA proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.\n\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and business teams.\n\nPassion for data integrity, system reliability, and delivering high-impact solutions.\n\nOur Senior Database Administrator earns between 3,800 - 5,700 EUR gross / month.
