This role works with modern web technologies, cloud platforms, and software engineering practices to deliver reliable and secure business solutions. The position collaborates with team members, product owners, and business stakeholders to implement application features, resolve issues, and support ongoing business needs.\nKey Roles and Responsibilities\nDevelop, test, deploy, and support application features using Angular, Node.js, SQL, AWS, and related technologies.\nBuild and maintain user interface components, APIs, database integrations, and backend services supporting the Vector, TREQS, and VALET platforms.\nCollaborate with business analysts, product owners, and team members to understand requirements and implement solutions.\nParticipate in code reviews and apply established development standards, design patterns, and best practices.\nDevelop and maintain SQL queries, database objects, and data integrations.\nAssist in implementing cloud-based solutions and integrations leveraging AWS services.\nCreate and execute automated and manual tests to ensure software quality and reliability.\nTroubleshoot application defects, support production issues, and participate in root cause analysis activities.\nParticipate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, testing, and release activities.\nContribute to continuous improvement efforts that enhance application functionality, performance, and user experience.\nDocument technical solutions, processes, and application changes as required.\nJob Contribution\nWorks on software development assignments under general guidance while applying established technical knowledge and development practices. Continues to expand technical skills and knowledge of enterprise applications, development tools, and cloud technologies while gaining experience in delivering increasingly complex solutions.\nWhat You'll Need (Required Skills)\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.\n2-4 years of software development experience.\nExperience developing web applications using Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.\nExperience with Node.js and REST API development.\nWorking knowledge of SQL development, data modeling, and relational databases.\nExperience developing or supporting applications in AWS or other cloud environments.\nFamiliarity with source control tools such as Git and basic CI/CD concepts.\nUnderstanding of software development lifecycle methodologies and Agile practices.\nKnowledge of software design principles, coding standards, and application security fundamentals.\nStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills.\nEffective verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to work collaboratively in a team environment.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting enterprise business applications.\nFamiliarity with workforce planning, vendor management, financial management, or resource management solutions.\nExperience with automated testing tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Jest, or similar frameworks.\nExperience working with APIs, system integrations, and data exchange processes.\nExposure to AI-assisted development tools and automation technologies.\nFamiliarity with microservices-based applications and modern web architectures.\nExperience using Jira, ServiceNow, GitHub, or related development tools.\nInterest in learning cloud-native development, DevOps practices, and emerging technologies.\nLocation: Bratislava, Slovakia\nSalary Range: from 3200 - 4900 EUR gross a month. The actual salary is based on your skills, experience and knowledge.\n\nOur Sr Specialist Software Engineering jobs earn between €39,400.00 - €59,200.00 Annual.
