As a Sr.Specialist Cybersecurity Architect at AT&T, you will ensure technical feasibility and successful delivery of secure technology solutions. This role involves leading agile development, managing technical risks, providing expert technical guidance, and balancing agility with quality through effective security protocols. You must possess a strong technical background to ensure you are designing modular and scalable security architectures. Experience leading large cross-organizational cybersecurity projects and a well-rounded technical background in current cybersecurity technologies are essential.\nExperience Level: 8+ years\nLocation: Hyderabad or Bengaluru\nRoles and Responsibilities:\nArchitect, design, and deliver large-scale, reliable, maintainable, high-quality cybersecurity solutions and systems aligned with company guidelines and best practices.\nMaintain comprehensive documentation and patterns for cybersecurity design, implementation, and maintenance, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.\nWork with other cybersecurity SMEs to resolve the company’s most difficult cybersecurity problems, develop groundbreaking solutions, and push the boundaries of cybersecurity technology in alignment with strategic business objectives.\nLead the craftsmanship, availability, resilience, and scalability of cybersecurity solutions.\nAccountable for the technical feasibility and delivery of secure products.\nAddress difficult and ambiguous cybersecurity problems spanning the interactions among multiple systems, products, organizations, people, and functions.\nModel technology solutions by iteratively translating cybersecurity needs and business constraints into working designs.\nBalance agility and quality with the right security protocols.\nProvide guidance and mentorship to Senior Engineers, lead technical discussions, and make architectural decisions that positively impact the product and company’s direction.\nDrive enterprise-wide security architecture initiatives and ensure alignment with Enterprise Architecture principles, standards, and strategic roadmaps.\nLead and facilitate threat modeling exercises for applications, platforms, APIs, and cloud-native solutions to proactively identify and mitigate security risks.\nPrimary / Mandatory skills:\n8+ years of experience in cybersecurity architecture and related fields.\nDeep knowledge of web application security, cloud security, security systems design, policy development, compliance, and incident response.\nHands-on experience securing cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).\nStrong understanding of Enterprise Architecture frameworks and experience aligning cybersecurity solutions with enterprise technology strategies.\nExperience conducting and leading Threat Modeling activities using industry-recognized methodologies (e.g., STRIDE, PASTA, or equivalent).\nIn-depth knowledge of secure application development practices and the OWASP Top 10, with the ability to incorporate security-by-design principles into solution architectures.\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.\nExperience in drafting Security Design Patterns across all cybersecurity domains.\nExpertise and deep understanding of Information Security domains.\nExperience in thought leadership and creating high-quality cybersecurity solutions.\nExperience in leadership with the ability to work well across business units, building relationships to deliver on joint objectives and key results.\nExpertise in building cybersecurity platforms.\nExperience working within Agile/Scrum/Kanban development teams.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the demonstrated ability to present complex technical information clearly to peers, developers, architects, and senior leaders.\nExperience with Zero Trust Architecture, DevSecOps, Kubernetes/Container Security, API Security, CI/CD Security, and Security Architecture Reviews.\nExperience with cloud-native security services, Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM), and Infrastructure-as-Code security controls.\nFamiliarity with risk assessments, security governance frameworks, and regulatory standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, SOC2, PCI-DSS, and GDPR.\nFamiliarity with applying Artificial Intelligence (AI) or Machine Learning (ML) techniques in cybersecurity contexts (e.g., anomaly detection, threat hunting, behavioral analytics, or risk scoring).\nExperience leveraging AI-enabled tools (such as Copilot for Security, Darktrace, CrowdStrike Charlotte AI, or custom LLM integrations) to enhance detection, response, and automation workflows.\nUnderstanding of LLM safety, prompt engineering, or AI governance frameworks (e.g., NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act readiness) is a plus.\nExposure to data science fundamentals relevant to security (pattern recognition, supervised vs. unsupervised learning, model validation).\nAwareness of AI-driven risks (e.g., adversarial ML, data poisoning, model hallucination) and their mitigation within enterprise environments.\nInterest in leveraging GenAI for security operations, such as summarizing alerts, drafting reports, or automating incident triage.\nAdditional information (if any): Flexible to provide coverage in US morning hours upon need.\nCertification: CISSP, CCSP, TOGAF,
