The Analyst works with stakeholders and team members to understand business needs, analyze data, identify trends and opportunities, and translate findings into clear, actionable insights.\nThe position requires strong analytical reasoning, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate findings effectively to technical and non-technical audiences. The Analyst also contributes to the development and enhancement of business intelligence solutions using tools such as Microsoft Power BI.\nThe Data Analyst reports to the Analytics & Insights Manager and works collaboratively with stakeholders and other functional teams.\nKey Responsibilities\nData Analysis\nGather, validate, analyze, and interpret data from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.\nConduct recurring and ad hoc analyses to address business questions and stakeholder needs.\nTranslate analytical findings into clear conclusions, recommendations, and actionable insights.\nDefine and evaluate metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to support operational and stakeholder objectives.\nApply appropriate quality checks to promote the accuracy and reliability of analytical outputs.\nReporting & Business Intelligence\nDevelop and maintain reports, dashboards, visualizations, and other analytical products.\nUse Power BI or similar tools to develop and enhance reporting and business intelligence solutions.\nPresent complex data and analytical findings in clear, accessible formats appropriate for the intended audience.\nIdentify opportunities to improve or automate recurring reporting, data preparation, and analytical processes.\nStakeholder & Team Support\nWork with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into data, reporting, and analytical requirements.\nCollaborate with team members and stakeholders throughout the development, testing, implementation, and enhancement of analytical products.\nMaintain appropriate documentation and contribute to continuous improvement of analytical methods, reporting practices, and team processes.\nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Business, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.\n3-5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, reporting, or a related analytical role.\nProficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience analyzing and interpreting data from multiple sources.\nExperience developing reports, metrics, visualizations, or other analytical products.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.\nAbility to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with or demonstrated interest in Microsoft Power BI and business intelligence development.\nExperience with data preparation, transformation, or analysis tools such as Power Query, DAX, SQL, or related technologies.\nExperience with Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint, process automation, or other Microsoft 365 technologies.\nFamiliarity with Agile, the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), or similar structured development practices.\nExperience supporting government programs or government contracting environments.\nEducation and/or Exposure to Artificial Intelligence (AI) or AI-enabled analytical and automation tools.\nBenefits\nComprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, plus telehealth services and a confidential Employee Assistance Program.\nPaid time off starting at 3.5 weeks annually, increasing with tenure, plus 11 paid holidays.\n401(k) retirement plan with an employer match of up to 4% of eligible compensation after six months of employment.\nCompany-paid basic life, accidental death and dismemberment, and short- and long-term disability insurance.\nProfessional development and tuition reimbursement programs, each offering up to $1,500 annually for eligible employees after six months of service, subject to approval.\nAttain Talent is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
