This role performs corrective, preventive, and perfective software maintenance while supporting secure releases and continuous modernization.\nQualifications and Education Requirements:\nAt least seven (7) years of related software development experience, including full-stack application development and application maintenance.\nA bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.\nExperience developing and troubleshooting front-end, back-end, API, and database components using languages and frameworks appropriate to the supported platform.\nExperience with cloud-hosted applications, SaaS integrations, SQL, version control, and CI/CD workflows.\nKnowledge of secure coding, automated testing, vulnerability remediation, release management, and configuration controls.\nAbility to investigate production defects, assess change impacts, maintain technical documentation, and collaborate with operations and security teams.\nAWS Certified Developer - Associate or a comparable cloud development certification relevant to the supported environment is preferred.\nAbility to satisfy required Government background investigation, system access, nondisclosure, and sensitive-information protection requirements.\nJob Duties:\nPerform corrective, preventive, and perfective application maintenance across front-end, back-end, integration, and database components.\nTroubleshoot production defects and legacy integration failures; implement emergency fixes and coordinated corrective actions.\nDevelop and deploy approved upgrades, enhancements, security updates, and application modifications.\nRemediate critical and high software vulnerabilities within timelines prescribed by CISA security guidance and policies.\nUse secure coding, automated testing, and approved CI/CD workflows to validate changes and support reliable releases.\nMaintain configuration records and software baselines; ensure application software aligns with DHS Technology Reference Model approvals.\nMonitor application services, investigate performance issues, and optimize application behavior and cloud resource use for changing demand.\nSupport Authority to Operate documentation, monthly scan remediation, data protection, and configuration management quality assurance.\nMaintain technical documentation, SOPs, concepts of operations, change histories, and operational knowledge repositories.\nCoordinate deployments, alerting, service-level expectations, incident resolution, and user-support knowledge transfer with the CISA Technology Operations Center; support approved changes outside normal hours.\nNon-Essential Functions:\nOther related duties as assigned.\nAbout Us\nAttainX, Inc. delivers technology solutions, software products, and professional services to Federal Government customers.
