Serving in a high-level capacity, this role provides specialist technical advice and peer reviews to ensure projects meet industry standards and client requirements. Additionally, the position plays a key role in mentoring team members and collaborating across engineering disciplines to support successful project outcomes.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing:\nCoordinate with the company geotechnical team to plan and deliver site investigations in accordance with the project scope and technical requirements.\n\nProvide technical direction to the field investigation team, including borehole locations, in-situ testing, sampling requirements, and laboratory testing programmes.\n\nReview and validate field investigation records, borehole logs, laboratory test results, and geotechnical data collected by the company team.\n\nInterpret geotechnical and geological information to assess subsurface conditions, engineering properties, and geotechnical risks.\n\nPrepare and review Geotechnical Interpretative Reports (GIR), including engineering assessments, design parameters, geotechnical recommendations, and construction considerations.\n\nLiaise with project managers, designers, and other engineering disciplines to ensure geotechnical findings are appropriately incorporated into the design process.\n\nProvide specialist geotechnical advice during project planning, design development, and technical reviews.\n\nEnsure all investigations, interpretations, and reports comply with relevant standards, client requirements, and industry best practice.\n\nUndertake technical quality assurance and peer reviews of geotechnical deliverables prior to submission to the client.\n\nMentor and provide technical guidance to the company geotechnical team, promoting consistency, quality, and knowledge transfer throughout the project.\n\nWhat You’ll Need:\nBachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Geological Engineering, or a related discipline from a recognized university.\n\nWhat Will Set You Apart:\nMaster's Degree in Geotechnical Engineering or a related field is desirable.\n\nChartered Professional Engineer (CPEng), Registered Professional Engineer (RPEQ/RPEV), or equivalent professional registration is preferred.\n\nAbout Atticus:\nAtticus Advisory Solutions Inc. is a specialized remote staffing and IT offshoring firm based in the Philippines, providing vetted, high-quality Filipino talent to global tech startups, SMEs, and consulting firms, focusing heavily on niche areas like ERP (NetSuite), Accounting and Finance and IT, offering integrated recruiting, upskilling, and HR support to ensure high retention and reliable offshore teams.\nAtticus provides a comprehensive solution for international companies to build dedicated, outsourced teams and efficiently scale their technical and administrative capabilities by leveraging skilled Filipino talent, managed with a focus on quality and long-term retention.
