This role is based in the Berkeley Nanolab and works closely with AttoTude engineers and researchers to fabricate, iterate, and characterize devices in a fast-moving R&D environment.\nThis position is well-suited for either:\nAn experienced fabrication technician who enjoys executing and improving process flows\nThe ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and excited to work on cutting-edge fabrication challenges in a shared-user cleanroom.\nKey Responsibilities\nExecute micro- and nanofabrication process flows in the Berkeley Nanolab cleanroom• Operate fabrication equipment including:\n\nPhotolithography tools (spin coaters, mask aligners, developers)\nDry and wet etching tools (RIE, DRIE, wet etch)\nThin film deposition systems (evaporation, sputtering, PECVD)\nMetrology and inspection tools (optical microscopy, profilometry, ellipsometry, SEM)\nSupport process development, optimization, and repeatability for AttoTude devices\nMaintain detailed fabrication logs, travelers, and process documentation\n Follow all Berkeley Nanolab safety, chemical handling, and cleanroom protocols\nContribute to continuous improvement of AttoTude fabrication workflows\nRequired Qualifications\nPrior experience working in a micro- or nanofabrication cleanroom (academic, industrial, or internship experience acceptable)\nFamiliarity with semiconductor, MEMS, or nanofabrication processes\nStrong attention to detail and ability to follow and refine complex process flows\nExcellent organizational and documentation skills\nAbility to work independently while collaborating closely with a small technical team\nPreferred Qualifications\n2-10+ years of hands-on cleanroom fabrication experienceExperience in a shared-user academic or national lab
