You will design, build, automate and optimise secure Azure platforms for enterprise and government customers, delivering infrastructure, networking, security, integration, backup and disaster recovery solutions in complex and regulated environments.\nKey Responsibilities:\nBuild, configure and integrate Azure infrastructure in line with approved architectures, detailed designs and customer requirements.\nDevelop and maintain infrastructure as code using Ansible, Bicep and ARM templates, and build CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps.\nImplement Azure networking and connectivity, including VNets, NSGs, Azure Firewall, load balancers, route tables, NAT Gateway, Private Endpoints and ExpressRoute; design hub-and-spoke architectures.\nDeploy Azure Integration Services, including Event Hubs, Logic Apps and Azure Functions.\nImplement monitoring, logging and observability using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics and diagnostic settings.\nApply security controls aligned with ISM and Essential Eight requirements, including encryption and Customer Managed Keys.\nDeploy and support Azure Virtual Desktop, including FSLogix, image management and security hardening.\nBuild Azure infrastructure for SAP workloads and implement Azure Backup, Recovery Services Vault, Veeam and other backup solutions.\nSupport disaster recovery planning, testing, resilience and failover activities.\nImplement identity and access management with Entra ID, Conditional Access, RBAC and Privileged Identity Management.\nParticipate in architecture reviews, change management and governance, and prepare technical documentation, as-built records, runbooks and operational procedures.\nWorking Conditions\nNV1 security clearance required.\nAustralian citizenship is required.\nLocation: Canberra or Melbourne.\nWork arrangement: onsite.\nEmployment type: Permanent preferred.\nWhat will make you successful in this role?\nStrong experience delivering Microsoft Azure infrastructure, including landing zones, governance and enterprise-scale deployments.\nDemonstrated expertise in Azure networking, connectivity and hybrid cloud solutions.\nPractical experience with infrastructure as code, cloud automation, Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.\nExperience with Azure Virtual Desktop and knowledge of Azure security, compliance and hardening practices.\nExperience with backup, disaster recovery and business continuity solutions, and a strong understanding of identity and access management.\nExperience in government, defence or other regulated environments, with clear stakeholder engagement and customer-facing consulting skills.\nEducation/Certifications Required\nMicrosoft Azure certifications are highly regarded.\nRelevant cloud, infrastructure or automation certifications are desirable.\nWhy is this an exciting opportunity?\nAtturra is one of the fastest growing ASX-listed advisory and IT solutions companies in Australia, giving you a strong foundation to fulfil your career ambitions.\nWe currently have 1100+ professionals working across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Hong Kong who are using innovation to lead the way.\nThe Managed Services division of Atturra provides leading Hybrid IT, Private Cloud, and Connectivity services, backed by decades of industry experience.
