Responsibilities may include structural steel design, foundation design, engineering calculations, technical reports, and multidisciplinary coordination supporting solar, BESS, substation, transmission, and distribution projects. In this role, an employee will be expected to demonstrate proficiency in regard to the essential functions of the job below.\nEssential Responsibilities\nPerform structural engineering assignments for renewable energy and power delivery projects under the direction of an engineer, project manager, or other technical professional.\nAssist in the analysis and design of structural steel, foundations, equipment supports, and other structural systems supporting substations, solar facilities, battery energy storage systems, transmission lines, and distribution infrastructure.\nPrepare engineering calculations, technical reports, design documentation, specifications, and project deliverables in accordance with company quality standards.\nSupport the development of foundation designs, structural layouts, structure loading information, construction details, and bills of material for assigned projects.\nCoordinate with engineers, designers, and multidisciplinary project teams to incorporate project requirements, technical information, and design revisions into project deliverables.\nReview equipment information, vendor documentation, project requirements, and engineering data to support structural design activities.\nConduct engineering, code, standard, and technology-related research as needed to support project requirements and design development.\nParticipate in field visits, site investigations, and construction support activities as required.\nParticipate in QA/QC reviews and incorporate review comments into project deliverables in accordance with company quality standards.\nCommunicate with Project Managers and Team Leaders regarding workload status, project priorities, and deliverable schedules.\nPerform other job-related responsibilities as assigned.\nMust-Have Qualifications\nBasic knowledge of structural engineering principles related to renewable energy and power delivery infrastructure.\nDeveloping understanding of structural steel design, concrete design, foundation engineering, and applicable structural codes and standards.\nAbility to prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, and project documentation with attention to detail and quality.\nStrong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary project team environment.\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office and structural engineering software applications.\nStrong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments.\nCommitment to quality, continuous learning, and professional development.\nBachelor’s Degree in Structural Engineering or a related engineering discipline from an accredited program.\nEngineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred.\n2-4 years of related engineering, internship, co-op, or field experience.\nExposure to structural design, renewable energy, substations, transmission, distribution, utility infrastructure, or related engineering projects preferred.\nAbility to apply fundamental engineering concepts to practical project assignments.\nAdditional Position Details\nWork is performed in a professional work environment, with work location and reporting expectations determined by business needs and position requirements. Some field work may be required.\nMust be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods and operate a computer and other office productivity equipment.\nFrequently communicates and collaborates with clients, engineers, designers, contractors, vendors, and project stakeholders.\nMust be able to move around project sites and work in indoor or outdoor environments as
