This position works closely with clients, engineers, consultants, and regulatory agencies to keep projects moving from initial submittal through permit issuance.\nKey Responsibilities\nManage civil permitting activities for multiple projects across states and jurisdictions.\nResearch jurisdiction-specific permitting requirements and identify required applications, plans, fees, and supporting documents to create Site Investigation Reports (SIR).\nCoordinate permit submittals, agency reviews, comments, resubmittals, approvals, and permit issuance.\nMaintain accurate permit trackers and monitor critical milestones, deadlines, and outstanding items.\nCoordinate with civil engineers, surveyors, architects, contractors, consultants, clients, and regulatory agencies.\nCommunicate permit status, issues, and potential schedule impacts to clients and project teams.\nFollow up with agencies and project team members to keep permits moving toward approval.\nPrepare status reports, dashboards, and other program-level permitting updates.\nDevelop and maintain standardized permitting procedures and jurisdictional resources for national programs.\nIdentify permitting risks and proactively escalate issues that may affect project schedules.\nQualifications\n3+ years of experience in civil permitting, land development, engineering, or a related field.\nExperience managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.\nStrong organizational, communication, and follow-through skills.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.\nAbility to work independently and coordinate effectively with large project teams.\nExperience with multi-state or national programs is preferred.\nFamiliarity with commercial site development and civil engineering plans is preferred.\nExperience with electronic permitting portals and agency submittal systems is preferred.\nCore Competencies\nProgram coordination\nOrganization\nClient service\nAgency communication\nProblem solving\nAttention to detail\nTime management\nFollow-through\nAdaptability\nDisclaimer \nWhile AI tools may support your application process, this role is built on human talent.
