Do you enjoy transforming field data into accurate survey deliverables, solving complex boundary and title challenges, and supporting projects that shape communities and infrastructure? \nAtwell is seeking a Project Surveyor to join our growing Reno team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an LSIT or CST certification who wants to work alongside experienced survey leaders, strengthen their technical expertise, and gain exposure to a diverse portfolio of land development, infrastructure, utility, renewable energy, and transportation projects.\nYou'll play a key role in delivering survey projects from data processing through final mapping while receiving mentorship and support on your path toward professional licensure.\nWhat You'll Do\nProcess field survey data, LiDAR, and 3D point cloud data to create high-quality survey deliverables.\nDevelop boundary, topographic, site, and ALTA/NSPS surveys using Civil 3D and related survey software.\nPrepare surfaces, contours, utility mapping, and site feature exhibits.\nResearch deeds, title commitments, easements, and public records to support boundary determinations.\nDraft legal descriptions and easement exhibits.\nPerform quality reviews of survey plats, drawings, and project deliverables.\nCalculate and prepare stakeout information, alignments, and construction survey deliverables.\nCollaborate closely with field crews, project managers, and survey leadership to ensure project success.\nAssist with project planning, task coordination, scheduling, and quality management.\nContribute to a team culture focused on technical excellence, continuous learning, and professional growth.\n What We're Looking For\nBachelor's degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field - NOT REQUIRED\nLSIT certification preferred.\nCST Level II or III certification preferred.\nStrong working knowledge of Civil 3D and survey drafting workflows.\nExperience processing survey field data and preparing survey mapping deliverables.\nUnderstanding of boundary surveying principles, title research, and legal descriptions.\nExcellent communication and organizational skills.\nDesire to learn, grow, and continue progressing toward professional licensure.\nWhy Join Atwell?\nAtwell offers more than just a job.
