The primary focus of a Program Manager is to achieve results that are in line with the organization's and/or client’s larger picture, and this requires a strong sense of initiative and the ability to think creatively and innovatively. To achieve optimal performance, a Program Manager must be proactive in generating ideas and strategies for quick responses to challenges and changes in the market. This involves having a deep understanding of the industry, staying up-to-date with trends and emerging technologies, and anticipating potential roadblocks that may arise.\nIn addition to being a strategic thinker, a Program Manager must also have excellent communication and leadership skills. They must be able to motivate and inspire their team members to achieve their best, while also ensuring that everyone is working towards the same goals. This requires a high degree of emotional intelligence, the ability to manage conflict and build strong relationships, and the willingness to be accountable for their decisions and actions. Ultimately, a successful Program Manager is someone who is able to balance the big picture with the day-to-day details, and who has the vision, drive, and initiative to bring complex projects to successful completion. In this role, an employee will be expected to demonstrate proficiency in the essential functions outlined below.\nEssential Responsibilities\nLead or support proposal development, submittal, and presentation activities in coordination with business development, client services, and other internal stakeholders, as applicable.\nReview future markets/industries/service lines for company growth.\nDevelop or expand business with Atwell clients.\nDevelop budgets coordination with internal staff.\nEnsure projects are managed to the approved budget.\nEnsure that all PO’s and Change Orders are received and/or in process in a timely manner.\nManage resources, when needed, to ensure timely completion of work and adherence to project budget.\nCoordinate with project managers, technical teams, and other internal stakeholders to align project activities, address challenges, and support successful program delivery.\nAddress and create solutions/process workflow in coordination with PM’s and others to meet client needs.\nMaintain project related process workflow in systems.\nEffectively manage scope creep.\nAssist with activities related to planning, scheduling, budgeting, forecasting and executing projects.\nCreate and adopt standard reporting procedures and systems.\nLend support to project managers.\nManage projects on as needed.\nFirst line interface with client, corporate office and project teams.\nOther job-related responsibilities as assigned\nMust-Have Qualifications\nBachelor's Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, Business, or a related field from an accredited institution is preferred; an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.\nProfessional Engineer (PE) license preferred, as applicable to the business line or position responsibilities.\nProject Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.\n4+ years of experience in Program or Development Management.\nExperience working in a business, planning, development or legal environment.\nExperience in understanding the energy industry, renewables and project development.\nMust possess strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills for dealing with clients, team members and prospective clients.\nStrong organizational, task and time management skills.\nAdditional Position Details\nMust be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.\nNeeds to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, printers, fax machines, etc.\nConstantly operates a computer and other office
