Design work between internal Operations and Sales stakeholders, and external stakeholders (e.g., Clients). The Renewable Development Engineer works collaboratively with these Stakeholders to perform preliminary PV electrical and PV civil design.\nSalary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 / year\nThe salary range above is based upon the Denver, Colorado labor market.\nThis opportunity is available to both local / in-office (Lakewood, CO) and full-time remote candidates.\nEssential Responsibilities\nDesigns PV, BESS and Wind projects in all areas of the US.\nPassionate about learning multi disciplines and multi technologies.\nActs as a liaison between the solar design team and relevant internal and external stakeholders\nDelivers preliminary PV, BESS and/or Wind design (0-30%). Project level of detail is greatly dependent on contracted scope. Design can include partial or all of the following:\nMeet the technical requirements outlined by the client and/or Owner\nCreation of constraint file to determine initial project feasibility\nSolar, PV, or Wind layout creation\nPreliminary level cable and DC design\nPreliminary level Civil grading and drainage\nProvide high-level Bill of Materials for civil infrastructure, electrical material, and foundation quantities\nMust be able to self-schedule preliminary design activities to meet deadlines set by external stakeholders\nVarious EE Studies (Load flow, ampacity, losses and/or short circuit)\nProduction estimates (Pvsyst)\nWorks with Proposal team and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to establish proposal pricing\nProvides engineering & technical support to the other members of the Business Development & Project Services Team\nDevelops and maintain outstanding company-client relationships\nMaintains high ethical and professional standards\nDevelops equipment vendor relationships\nAttends conferences, training workshops, seminars, regular undergraduate, and graduate classes as appropriate for advancement and as required to maintain quality of work\nAttends safety training and adhere to all safety rules and guidelines\nWorks well is self-motivated environment and driven for continual improvement.\nOther responsibilities as assigned\nMust-Have Qualifications\nBachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or Civil Engineering from an accredited institution, electric power option preferred\n1 -
