Responsibilities may include site layouts, equipment arrangements, grounding systems, conduit systems, cable routing systems, engineering calculations, technical studies, construction support, and project coordination. In this role, an employee will be expected to demonstrate proficiency in the essential functions below.\nEssential Responsibilities\nLead physical engineering assignments for data centers projects using established engineering standards and practices.\nPrepare and review engineering calculations, technical reports, specifications, studies, and project documentation.\nDevelop and coordinate physical engineering deliverables including site layouts, equipment arrangements, grounding plans, conduit plans, cable routing plans, bills of material, and construction documents.\nPerform and review engineering analyses related to grounding systems, conduit systems, equipment layouts, bus ampacity, conduit fill requirements, and other physical design activities.\nReview project requirements, vendor information, client specifications, submittals, and applicable standards to support project execution.\nLead planning, coordination, and execution of assigned project phases, work packages, and engineering deliverables to support successful project delivery.\nAct as a technical lead for assigned project scopes, ensuring technical accuracy, consistency, and adherence to established engineering standards and practices.\nLead technical reviews and QA/QC activities to maintain technical quality within assigned scope and ensure deliverables meet company, client, and industry standards.\nContribute to engineering standards, technical consistency, and application of design practices across assigned projects.\nProvide field support, troubleshooting, site observations, and construction support activities as required.\nSupport client communication, technical discussions, project coordination, and project deliverables through effective collaboration with project teams and stakeholders.\nConduct engineering research related to applicable codes, standards, technologies, and industry practices.\nPerform other job-related responsibilities as assigned.\nMust-Have Qualifications\nAdvanced knowledge of physical engineering principles related to data centers, mission-critical, and power infrastructure projects.\nStrong understanding of site layouts, equipment arrangements, grounding systems, conduit systems, cable routing systems, and applicable industry codes and standards.\nAbility to independently perform and review engineering calculations, analyses, technical studies, and project documentation.\nAbility to lead technical execution, coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities, and manage technical quality within assigned project scopes.\nStrong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities.\nProficiency with AutoCAD, MathCAD, Microsoft Office, and related engineering software applications.\nStrong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.\nCommitment to quality, continuous improvement, safety, and professional development.\nBachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline from an accredited institution.\nEngineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required.\nProfessional Engineer (PE) license preferred.\n6-8 years of related engineering or field experience.\nExperience supporting data centers, mission-critical, power delivery, utility, industrial, or related infrastructure projects.\nExperience preparing and reviewing engineering calculations, technical reports, design documentation, technical studies, and project deliverables.\nExperience performing physical design and engineering analysis for infrastructure or power-related projects.\nExperience leading assigned project phases, technical work packages, or engineering deliverables and coordinating multidisciplinary project activities.\nExperience coordinating with engineers, designers, project managers, clients, and project stakeholders.\nExperience supporting project delivery, troubleshooting, or construction support activities.\nAdditional Position Details\nWork is performed in a professional work environment, with work location and reporting expectations determined by business needs and position requirements. Some field work may be required.\nMust be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods and operate a computer and other office productivity equipment.\nFrequently communicates and
