We are looking for a hands-on professional who is passionate about leading and developing an engineering team across both technical and operational areas. In this role, you will oversee projects from start to finish while ensuring a safe, efficient, and productive work environment for all team members.\nPlease note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done. Within the Auberge family, our people always find new ways to look after the business, their guests, and their teammates. Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are:\nGuide team members in their roles and follow up with Chief Engineer/Director of Engineering (DOE) for any notable performance or corrective action.\n\nDemonstrate ENRICH values in all interactions with team members, guests and vendors.\n\nAbility to troubleshoot and repair all hotel systems including all H.V.A.C&R systems, laundry equipment, kitchen equipment, water and wastewater, carpentry, tile, plumbing, painting and minor automotive repairs.\n\nAssume responsibilities as needed of the DOE and Chief Engineer in their absence.\n\nMaintain complete knowledge of hotel fire system, water system, sewage system, and irrigation system\n\nRespond to all Guest Requests within a timely manner\n\nRespond to all emergency or life threatening situations\n\nFollow established safety procedures\n\nLog and communicate all essential information in Engineering logs\n\nThe starting range for this position is $36.00. This is the pay rate for this position that Stanly Ranch reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education.\n Minimum of 3-4 year experience as an Engineer / Maintenance Technician, preferably within a hotel or property management environment\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent, Technical school desired\n\nMust be able to operate all Hotel systems and associated equipment\n\nNeed to be familiar with associated vendors and able to identify replacement parts, materials, and necessary tools\n\nAbility to take action and make decisions whenever necessary as directed by the Director of Engineering or Chief Engineer.\n\nAbility to read and follow technical instructions on assembly of mechanical equipment and furniture as well as follow directions on warning labels\n\nAbility to communicate in English with guests, co-workers, and management\n\nValid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nBi-lingual - Spanish preferred\n\nExperience with GSuite\n\nPrior hospitality experience\n\n Auberge Collection is a portfolio of extraordinary hotels, resorts, residences and private clubs.
