As an IT Manager, should ensure IT support for the entire Hotel and closely aligned with Operations needs, projects, guest and admin support. Also, to assist the Information Technology Regional team in current and new IT initiatives, being in compliance in Auberge standards, policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Support All Operational IT aspects.
  • Elevate the guest internet experience.
  • In charge of attending all processes related to IT-Security Compliance. Networking, Quarterly User Audit.
  • Executing, Planing, Controlling cost associated with IT Budget and CAPEX.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • It is required to participate being present in Area hotels, in accordance with Implementation needs, therefore it’s recommended to have a personal vehicle to attend in a timely manner.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Frequent or occasional need to perform the following physical activities: reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, twisting, lifting, and climbing. Has frequently needed to perform standing and walking activities related to inspecting property.
  • Constant need to perform the following physical activities: grasping, turning, finger dexterity.
  • Occasionally I need to stand for long periods of time.
  • Lifting/carrying up to 10 lbs. frequently and 15 lbs. occasionally.
  • Vision requirements: constant need to view small print. Frequent need to see small details and things clearly beyond arms’ reach.
  • Hearing requirements: constant need to speak on telephone and/or two-way radio, respond to the general public and converse with staff. Ability to hear fire alarms and emergency equipment.
  • Leadership, Trainer, Strong IT knowledge.
  • Ability to communicate in English with co-workers, guests and management to their understanding.
  • Versatility, discipline, organization, proactive, strong work ethic and sense of teamwork.
  • 3 years minimum experience as a Hotel Systems specialist
  • Probed IT knowledge implementing projects & initiatives.
  • Competence with Networking & GPON, Hotelier Systems(OPERA Cloud, Micros Simphony, Alice, Interfaces), PCI & SAQ standards.
  • Competence with different WiFi Solutions(Ruckus), Versatility using Office Tools, (Google and Office Suites)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Great attention to details.
  • Confidentiality and trustworthiness.
  • Excellent ability to organize and coordinate tasks.
  • Able to work as a team.
