Auckland Council is seeking an experienced Technical Lead to drive the evolution of our enterprise integration capability. This is a hands-on technical leadership role for someone who combines deep engineering expertise with a passion for building scalable, secure and modern integration solutions.\nHe angitūtanga: The opportunity\nWorking within our Platform Engineering practice, you'll partner closely with architects, product teams and delivery squads to establish best practices, uplift engineering capability and ensure our integration platforms remain reliable, secure and fit for the future.\nYou'll be a principal engineer or technical lead who enjoys solving complex enterprise challenges and influencing technical direction through expertise and collaboration.\nYou could expect to work on:\nProvide technical leadership for the MuleSoft platform\nDesign scalable API-led connectivity solutions\nEstablish integration standards and patterns\nSupport API governance and lifecycle management\nDrive integration platform modernization initiatives\nPartner with architecture teams and delivery squads\nChampion DevOps engineering practices\nLead Infrastructure as Code implementation across Azure environments\nBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines\nDrive platform automation initiatives\nImprove platforms security, observability and resilience\nEstablish reusable cloud platform patterns\nGuide engineering teams on DevOps best practices\nHe kōrero mōu: About you\nThis role requires significant Platform Engineering experience.
