Deliver Great Outcomes. \nAbout the role\nAs a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting enterprise integrations. This role will partner with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and operations teams to build scalable, secure, and reusable APIs and integrations that enable critical business processes across the ShipStation Global ecosystem.\nThis role is based in Madrid, Spain\nWhat you'll be doing?\nDesign, develop, test, deploy, and maintain integrations.\nBuild and support API-led connectivity solutions utilizing System, Process, and Experience APIs.\nDevelop integrations utilizing REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, EDI, XML, JSON, flat files, and database technologies.\nImplement event-driven and asynchronous integration patterns using messaging technologies.\nCollaborate with architects and technical leads to define integration standards, best practices, and reference architectures.\nParticipate in requirements gathering and technical design sessions with business and technology teams.\nDevelop and maintain DataWeave transformations for data mapping and orchestration.\nTroubleshoot production integration issues and participate in root cause analysis activities.\nSupport CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.\nMonitor and optimize integration performance, reliability, and scalability.\nConduct peer code reviews and ensure compliance with development standards.\nCreate and maintain technical documentation, API specifications, and operational runbooks.\nWork closely with infrastructure and security teams to ensure secure integration implementations.\nWhat are we looking for?\n3+ years of software development experience and 2+ years of experience developing integrations.\nExperience building RESTful APIs and web services, API design and API lifecycle management.\nExperience implementing integrations using XML, JSON, XSD, and DataWeave.\nExperience working with relational databases and SQL.\nExperience integrating cloud applications.\nExperience with Git-based source control systems.\nExperience supporting CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.\nExperience troubleshooting complex distributed systems\nStrong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills in both Spanish and English\nAbility to work effectively with business and technical stakeholders.\nStrong organizational and time-management skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nCritical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.\nCommitment to continuous learning and technical excellence\nWhat will make you stand out?\nMuleSoft Developer Certification (Mule 4).\nMuleSoft Integration Architect certification.\nExperience with AWS, S3, and SQS or hybrid cloud environments.\nExperience with EDI transactions and B2B integrations.\nExperience with Salesforce, ERP, CRM, TMS, or transportation/logistics systems.\nExperience with monitoring tools such as Datadog, Splunk, or similar platforms.\nExperience supporting enterprise-scale integration platforms.\nWhat do we offer?\n Clear and transparent compensation plan.
