In this role, you will own the design and operation of Kubernetes/OpenShift-based environments, including multi-cluster setups, and lead reliability, observability, and infrastructure-automation practices within your platform area. You will work closely with engineering, platform, and security teams to resolve non-routine infrastructure problems, embed security into platform operations, and improve delivery velocity for the wider engineering organization. \nWhat You'll Do\nDesign and operate Kubernetes/OpenShift environments - including multi-cluster deployments, nodes, networking, storage, ingress, and operators - within your platform scope. \nLead reliability engineering practices for owned platform areas, including SLIs, SLOs, alerting strategies, capacity planning, and performance tuning. \nProvision and automate infrastructure using Terraform, Helm, kubectl/oc, and GitOps workflows to reduce manual operational overhead. \nOperate on-prem and cloud (AWS) infrastructure - including enterprise networking, load balancers, DNS, certificates, and storage - with a focus on availability, capacity, performance, and cost. \nImplement and maintain observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenSearch/ELK, OpenTelemetry) to support proactive issue detection. \nParticipate in on-call rotation, troubleshoot complex platform and infrastructure issues, and lead incident response through blameless postmortems. \nBuild and maintain CI/CD and GitOps pipelines (ArgoCD, Jenkins, Helm) to improve deployment reliability and developer productivity. \nApply infrastructure security practices - RBAC, IAM, secrets management, certificates, network policies, and encryption - across managed environments. \nPartner with engineering, platform, and security teams to align on reliability priorities, provide operational guidance, and resolve non-routine infrastructure issues. \nMaintain operational documentation, runbooks, and troubleshooting guides, and mentor engineers to raise platform and reliability capability across the team. \nWho You Are\n6-9 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering. \nStrong hands-on experience operating Kubernetes/OpenShift in production, including multi-cluster environments. \nExperience managing cloud infrastructure (AWS) alongside on-prem or hybrid environments. \nProficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tooling (Terraform, Helm) and GitOps workflows (e.g. ArgoCD). \nExperience building and operating CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub, or similar). \nPractical experience with observability stacks: Prometheus, Grafana, OpenSearch/ELK, and OpenTelemetry. \nWorking knowledge of distributed data systems such as PostgreSQL, Kafka, or Cassandra. \nExperience implementing infrastructure security controls, including RBAC, IAM, secrets management, and network policies. \nStrong troubleshooting skills across networking, storage, and application infrastructure. \nExperience supporting production systems in financial services or another regulated industry is preferred. \nWhy Join Us?\nBe Part of a Bold Vision - At audax, we’re not just building software - we’re transforming how financial institutions and businesses manage risk, compliance, and growth.
