Competitive starting pay: $20 / plus $1.50 night shift premium as well as annual increases based on performance and a potential bonus opportunity twice a year

Schedule: We work 12 hour rotating shifts with every other weekend off. We are hiring for night shift 4pm-4am. Moving to days 4am-4pm is based on hire date
Duties of the Assistant Operator include:
- Raw material transfer systems for facility extruders
- Locate raw materials in the warehouse
- Responsible for maintaining resin silo levels and refilling when needed
- Provide relief coverage for other extrusion operators during breaks
- Become familiar with mixer job requirements for the facility
- Record material identification and amounts of material used
- Package and properly label finished material and place in holding area
- Wear proper PPE as designated by the work instruction.
- Maintain clean and safe working environment
Preferred experience, training and skills:
- High school diploma or GED REQUIRED
- Ability to work on a rotating 12 hour shift schedule from 4pm-4am
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to stand/walk up to 12 hours during the shift
- Ability to lift 50 lbs as needed
- Ability to climb stairs multiple times a day as needed
