At AUGLETICS, you will help make sure our rowing machines, device software and app work well together, so new features reach our customers thoroughly tested.\nWe develop and manufacture connected rowing machines in Königs Wusterhausen near Berlin. You will test on real equipment, work closely with developers and see how your feedback improves the product.\nYou will join a software team of four to five people and work directly with our CTO, Christopher Klabunde. Your focus is software quality assurance. Alongside hands-on testing, you will help coordinate projects: clarify requirements, organise open tasks and help the team move ideas through to release. You can grow into this responsibility, with support from Chris and the team.\nWhat you will do\nTest the app and devices: Explore new features, everyday training workflows and edge cases, and give specific feedback on functionality and usability.\n\nBuild repeatable tests: Develop test cases, checklists and regression tests. Gradually introduce test automation where it helps the product and team.\n\nFollow bugs through to resolution: Document reproducible steps, investigate causes with developers and verify fixes, including their impact on other features.\n\nHelp projects move forward: Organise tasks, define clear acceptance criteria, coordinate dependencies and keep progress and open questions visible.\n\nSupport effective teamwork: Facilitate agile discussions using approaches such as Scrum or Kanban, help remove obstacles and improve workflows with the team. This is project coordination without line-management responsibility.\n\nUse AI thoughtfully: Apply AI tools to test ideas, debugging, small utilities and automation, while carefully checking the results.\n\nYour role as Scrum Master\nAlongside your technical work, you will help our projects move forward as a team. As Scrum Master, you will coordinate collaboration within our software team and with external development agencies, working closely with CTO Christopher Klabunde. This role does not include line-management responsibility.\nBring internal developers and external partners into a shared plan, with clear responsibilities, next steps and acceptance criteria.\n\nPrepare and facilitate agile discussions, such as sprint planning, short daily check-ins, reviews and retrospectives, adapted to the needs of our projects.\n\nTrack dependencies, milestones and open decisions, raise obstacles early and help the team resolve them.\n\nHelp bring everyone’s work together so it can be tested as a complete product and prepared for reliable releases.\n\nIf you already have Scrum Master or project coordination experience, bring it with you. If you are new to the role, Chris and the team will support you as you grow into it. A Scrum Master certification is welcome, but not required.\nWhat you bring\nAn interest in software testing, quality assurance and technical projects. Previous experience is welcome, but not required; we are also interested in how you learn and why you want to enter this field.\n\nCuriosity, attention to detail and a systematic approach to solving problems. You can explain what went wrong and how to reproduce it.\n\nA technical foundation and an interest in understanding how apps, devices and backends work together.\n\nInitiative and an organised approach. You ask questions, follow up on open points and care about getting things finished.\n\nOpenness to AI-assisted development and testing. If you have experimented with these tools, we would love to hear about it.\n\nGood spoken and written English is required. You need to discuss technical topics and document findings confidently. German is not required, but it is a strong advantage.\n\nThe ability to work regularly on site in Königs Wusterhausen, because many tests happen directly on the rowing machines.\n\nA degree in computer science or a related subject, relevant vocational training, or equivalent knowledge provides a good foundation.\nExperienced or just starting out? You will get to know our product and ways of working alongside Chris and the team. We will match your initial tasks and responsibilities to your experience and help you grow from there.\nNice to have\nExperience with Android development, for example Kotlin or Java.\n\nExperience with Firebase as an app backend and the interaction between apps, user accounts and stored data.\n\nExperience in iOS development, ideally with Swift or SwiftUI.\n\nSome knowledge of test automation, Git, CI/CD or agile project work. The town has direct S46 S-Bahn and regional train connections to Berlin; you can cycle from the station to our office. Regular on-site work matters because development, testing and teamwork happen around the actual rowing machines.
