This role acts as the key link between Finance and Broking Operations, ensuring theaccurateandtimelyprocessing of premium and claims funds, effective credit control, and compliance with regulatory and internal accounting standards.\nThe successful candidate will have extensive experience within reinsurance broking accounts and a proven ability towork oncomplex financial transactions while building strong relationships across the business.\nResponsibilities:\nOversee the end-to-endhands-onmanagement of Insurance Broking Accounts (IBA). \nAct as the primary liaison between Finance,brokingandClient Solutionsto ensure efficient processing of financial transactions. \nMonitor andmanage collections, ensuringtimelyreceipt of funds from clients and brokers. \nEnsure prompt settlement of balances. \nAllocate incoming cash accurately across multiple accounts and transactions. \nPerform regular account reconciliations,investigatingand resolving discrepanciesin a timelymanner. \nLead credit control activities, proactivelymanaging ageddebtand improving cash collection performance. \nWork closely with brokers, financeteamsand external counterparties to resolve accounting queries. \nMonitor cash flow across broking accounts and identify potential risks or delays. \nEnsure compliance with FCA CASS rules, internalcontrolsand company policies (where applicable). \nProducemanagement information and reports relating to aged debt, cash allocation,reconciliationsand outstanding balances. \nSupport process improvements and driveefficiencies. \nRequirements:\nMinimum of 8years'hands-on, operationalexperience within Insurance Broking Accounts (IBA). \nStrong experience within the reinsurancebrokingmarket. \nExcellent understanding of premium accounting, cashallocationand reconciliations. \nProven experience in credit control and debtmanagement. \nStrong understanding ofbrokingaccounting processes and financial controls. \nAbility to work effectively between Finance and Operations teams. \nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills. \nStrong attention to detail withhigh levelsof accuracy. \nExcellent communication and stakeholdermanagement skills. \nProficient in Microsoft Excel and financial systems.\nWhy Join Us:\nWe offer competitive compensation packages, including base salary, performance-related bonuses, and equity participation.\nWe will provide you with the opportunity to be inventive and innovative, we love challenging industry norms.\nYou will work in a multi-disciplinary environment, collaborating closely with talented individuals within a flat structure.\nYou will be trusted and encouraged to take ownership and accountability.\nWe adopt a work from anywhere approach.
