We are seeking a Claims Operations Manager toestablishand run a disciplined claims-servicing capability across our reinsurance portfolio. This is a hands-on operational role for someone who can bring order, responsiveness, and strong controls to a growing business.\nRole purpose:\nOwn the end-to-end claims operations process after notification, ensuring that client, market, broker, technical accounting, and wordings stakeholders haveaccurateinformation, clear ownership, andtimelyfollow-through.\nKey responsibilities:\nEstablish and operate the claims intake, triage, tracking, and escalation process across treaty and delegated authority reinsurance business.\nCoordinate claims notifications, bordereaux, reserve movements, supporting documentation, and information requests among cedants, reinsurers, fronting carriers, TPAs, and internal teams.\nMaintain a complete and auditable claims register, with clear status, ownership, financial movements, next actions, and escalation triggers.\nMonitor reporting and payment obligations; work with Technical Accounting and Treasury to supportaccurateandtimelyclaims settlement.\nLead operational problem-solving on aged claims, missing data, disputed items, and late responses; escalate commercial, coverage, or conduct issues appropriately.\nPartner with Wordings, Legal and Compliance, andbroking teamsto ensure claims handling follows contract terms and agreed authorities.\nProduce clear management reporting on claims volumes, ageing, reserves, payment status, exceptions, and recurring root causes.\nImprove processes, controls, and systems as the portfolio scales, including practical use of automation and structured data.\nRequired experience and capabilities:\n5+ years of relevant claims operations, claims servicing, or reinsurance claims experience within a broker, insurer, MGA, managing agent, TPA, or reinsurer.\nStrong understanding of claims bordereaux, loss reporting, reserves, settlement workflows, and reinsurance contract administration.\nAbility to coordinate multiple parties and keep complex matters moving without losing detail or accountability.\nExcellent written communication, judgement, organization, and attention to detail.\nComfort working in a fast-moving environment where processes are being built as well as operated.\nPreferred experience\nExperience with Lloyd's and London market claims processes.\nExperience supporting delegated authority, specialty, or complex reinsurance portfolios.\nFamiliarity withbroker-management,claims, oraccounting systems and data-led process improvement.\nWhat success looks like\nA reliable single view of all claims and their financial status.\nClear service standards, ownership, and escalation for every live claim\nReduced ageing, fewer avoidable exceptions, and stronger confidence from clients and markets.\nWhy Join Us:\nWe offer competitive compensation packages, including base salary, performance-related bonuses, and equity participation.\nWe will provide you with the opportunity to be inventive andinnovative,we love challenging industry norms.\nYou will work in a multi-disciplinary environment, collaborating closely with talented individuals within a flat structure.\nYou will be trusted and encouraged to take ownership and accountability.\nWe adopt a work from anywhere approach.
