Our implementation approach and customer-obsessed culture are critical to our success as a company and brand. As August grows, we’re building product-specific expertise across our team-and we’re looking for a Billing Implementation Manager to lead customers through one of the most operationally critical transitions they’ll make.\nBilling at August is a modern, intuitive solution that helps communities streamline their invoicing and payment processes, reduce errors, and improve financial transparency for operators and families alike. In this role, you’ll play a key role in shaping the customer experience, building scalable processes, and helping senior living communities unlock real value from day one.\nWhat you’ll do:\nDrive the end-to-end implementation of August’s Billing product, taking customers from initial discovery through go-live, stabilizing early use, and preparing them for a seamless handoff to Customer Success.\n\nOwn the accuracy and quality of each Billing implementation by configuring the product correctly, establishing strong workflows, and ensuring communities are set up for long-term success.\n\nServe as the product expert for Billing-helping customers navigate setup, integrations, and adoption while continuously improving how we implement Billing at scale.\n\nCommunicate with all levels of the customer organization, from finance and operations leaders to community staff and home office billing teams.\n\nManage multiple complex Billing implementations simultaneously, balancing customer needs, timelines, dependencies, and competing priorities while maintaining the accuracy and attention to detail required for successful financial workflows.\n\nProvide strategic feedback to Product and Engineering, translating implementation experience, customer workflows, and recurring patterns into insights that help shape the future of Billing.\n\nLead training and launch sessions that build confidence and drive adoption with both back-office and community teams.\n\nDevelop internal and external resources to support repeatable, high-quality implementations as the product and customer base scale.\n\nCollaborate cross-functionally with our CX, Product, and Go-To-Market teams to continuously improve the customer journey and implementation experience.\n\nThe ideal candidate\n3+ years of experience in a customer-facing role, ideally in Customer Success, Implementation, or a similar function\n\nStrong financial literacy, with experience in billing, accounting, business office management, revenue cycle management, or another finance-related discipline\n\nExperience in healthcare or senior living operations is a plus, but not required-we can teach the industry; you bring the financial aptitude\n\nA customer-obsessed mindset and a track record of helping customers achieve meaningful outcomes\n\nExcited to build and improve processes, create scalable tools, and bring structure to new products, features, and implementation challenges\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts clearly to non-financial stakeholders\n\nComfortable operating with both process and ambiguity, with the judgment to follow established implementation practices while recognizing when a customer or situation requires a different approach\n\nAbout our team\nOur team brings together deep expertise in technology, healthcare, and company-building.
