We seek an experienced, Systems Administrator to serve as a part of the company’s Government Programs team by providing comprehensive IT service capability to support the U.S. Army Transportation Command's (ARTRANS) global C4ISR and distribution operations.\nDuties and Responsibilities:\n\nAs a Systems Administrator at ACI, you will maintain and support operating system environments and computer systems across multiple domains, administer Windows and Linux systems, support secure architectures, and collaborate with engineering teams to meet system and application requirements.\nMaintain and support the integrity of the operating system environment and various computer systems across multiple domains.\nAdminister, install, and troubleshoot a variety of operating systems.\nPerform systems maintenance tasks, such as system back-up, recovery, and file maintenance on both Windows and Linux systems.\nSchedule, install, and test system software upgrades.\nConfigure software and resolve technical problems.\nMonitor and maintain software licensing and maintenance agreements.\nContribute to moderately complex aspects of a project.\nWork with Software Engineers to ensure that the architecture will meet requirements of the proposed applications.\nProvide support for troubleshooting and administration.\nEnsure security compliance in deployed architectures.\nConduct audits of customer current architecture solutions and recommend changes as needed to meet requirements.\nProvide expertise in high availability, contingency planning, and automated provisioning.\nSupport and advise the customer on initiatives including assessment, migration, and modernization.\nWrite and edit scripts to increase system efficiency using PowerShell or another scripting language.\nWork within a collaborative, geographically dispersed team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.\nA Systems Administrator who fits our team is:\n\nDynamic: contributes energy and enthusiasm to our daily tasks, to the team’s interactions, and to the Company’s mission.\nThorough: possesses an unparalleled work ethic;
